YES! Worse than in Iowa and New Hampshire. Paul is unlikely to even finish third. Fourth is probable.
I just don't know. Everyone touts SC as a bastion of Christian fundamentalism. If what they say is true, I would think Santorum would finally get rewarded for his social conservative rhetoric. It is tough to say. So many of the hardliners want Obama out that they are voting for Romney because he is the front runner, not realizing that he has not one thing in common with them. Let's face it. Social conservatives are not known for their prowess. If true to their ideals, I say Huntsman, Paul, Santorum, with Romney in 4th. So I'll play devil's advocate and go with "no".
Yes I'm sure. One little poll shows Paul with a large gain. Others do not. Maybe its the Paul Family Poll. In any case. Paul WILL lose SC. PAul WILL lose FL. Paul will get slaughtered on Super Tuesday. He is a dried husk of an old man with NO chance to win this time just as he had no chance to win in any of his other runs for president. No one has been elected president after running 3 times. No one has been elected president at his age. Paul is a waste of time ink and ad space. He has never brought about ANY of the issues he "stands" for. He IS the "establishment" career politician. ALL talk, absolutely no action in 35 years." Has there ever been a more empty talker?
and until 2008, no black man, no Arab, no one of illegitimate birth, no half-term Senator, nor anyone lacking a personal history had ever been elected POTUS.
Are you saying that the terminally gullible could make another colossal mistake? I cannot counter that.
Yes. I think Romney will beat Paul in S.C. Although there is still a slight chance of an upset, I see Paul winning the western states including Texas and California.
Yes. I think the country has not learned that the two party establishment is destroying the country. Maybe when it dawns on them they will have a change of heart. Now go continue trillion dollar deficits and wars to keep us all safer at night so we can finally get someone in power who gives a da@@
i'm hearing black union members saying they were better off with GW. right now i think Mickey Mouse could beat Obama.
What scares me is we need drastic change. No (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) footing around. So many things loom in the distance. I know most people don't get into details as to economics, politics, or history involving either. We definitely have a college bubble that is going to pop. The majority of middle America, from the Rockies to the Great Lakes, are holding on by a thread. College towns are the only ones not totally devastated by the last bit of wealth our currency had left being sucked dry, and when the baby boomers and great generation are completely gone, what do we do? Their retirement checks and SS are keeping a lot of stores treading water. The majority of young are lucky to find low wrung jobs. You cannot fuel a super power with 10% doing good, 60% in service sector, with 30% either unemployed or on the government tit. I don't know what is going to collapse our nation 1st. The college bubble popping. Hyperinflation. Collapse of the service sector. If all 3 hit in the same year all hell will break loose. It sucks when your last hope is praying there is a guy in prison right now writing a book to blame it on the Jews and take over.
Then maybe the republicans should nominate him, because the guys up for nomination right now aren't going to get the job done.
the Demo-rats already have a half-black candidate with huge ears. i think Mitt McDuck will do just fine...as would any of the others still in the race except for Santorum. his issues are not what the voters care most about. it's not his time.
Absolutely. Paul's also going to be non-existent in Florida. Nevertheless, this election is quickly coming down to 2 candidates. Romney and Paul. I fully expect Romney to win the nomination (and lose the election), but in the end Paul's going to win the war. May as well relax. You'll be hearing from Paul and his supporters for a good long time.
we pick the electors that pick the president. when has an elector ever gone against the candidate they were elected for on the first round?
It's a bit premature to ask that, but it is going to be close. Paul is closing in on Romney. Sen Demint had some nice things to say about Paul.
Supposedly. But of course if it comes down to FL being the deciding factor, expect the Republican Party to change their minds.
