Plus, his meme did not extend thru Trump or Biden’s terms. His meme is utterly outdated and therefore, rendered moot.

Yes, because he is a Great Leader with Kindness and Compassion in his heart. Except for Rosie O'Donnell.

    His Compassion on display:

    What a great man.

Amazing that anyone can have watched trump's presidency and now watch the worst shat-show in history taking place and still trash Trump.
Biden hasn't done anything right yet, and his list of notable failures is more than 100 long.

You kind of ignored Trump's 600. I'll agree that his largest successes are around real estate, but that hardly means that's all he can do- just that it is his prime Forte. And you don't just develop a massive real estate project like a high-rise commercial building, because as soon as it's underway, the management of it never ends. Trump's talent has been in making deals, and strange as it may seem- making deals is also the essence of politics. The catch here is that in private industry, deals work for both sides. In politics, especially now- the objective of the left is to kill the right, starting with Trump. What kind of fool wants to damage his own country instead of helping it all work together ? That applies to most of today's left. America's a partnership, like it or not- and the left thinks only as adversaries, which means in order for them to win, the other side must lose. If they didn't live here, I'd never guess they were Americans, because they don't support the values that have made the country successful. Seems they actually hate it.

Trump hasn't just developed real estate, he runs it.
Just for an example of how profitable his businesses are, the Trump Organization brought in about $605 million in revenue in year 2020 and managed to clear somewhere between $275 and $325 million in profit. You think that happens by accident? Without skill or ability?

Donald Trump took over the stalled Wollman skating Rink in New York in 1986 after the city failed to renovate the rink even after 12 years of effort and a $12 million budget. The developer showed the world that he could finish the project under budget and ahead of schedule. His company even made a profit of about $500,000 in the first six months since the opening. The profit was donated to charity. That's a major skill he has- the ability to actually get things done. It works if you are the boss. Tough if you have to work with fools dedicated to making things fail.

Then there's the Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice shows on NBC, both solid performers- bringing in $1 million an episode.

Trump took over New York's Wollman Skating Ring project in back in 1986 after the city failed to renovate the rink even after 12 years of effort and a $12 million budget. Trump showed the world that he could finish the project under budget and ahead of schedule. His company even made a profit of about $500,000 in the first six months since the opening. The profit was donated to charity.
"Under budget and ahead of schedule" used to happen frequently in America; the Hoover dam project was one that achieved it.Nearly impossible today, because we refuse to demand competence- and put fools in charge.

Trump's not a man who can't learn, but it seems you might be. I've explained a dozen things to you; you haven't "got it" yet. I'm always disappointed when people who appear to have promise can't get it together.

About as much as I remember you having the integrity to actually address what I said. Personally, I think your "It's okay to attack democracy as long as you fail" excuse is pathetic. But you go with that lame bull **** if you want. I'll stick with caring about democracy and you can stick with thinking that it is NBD.

With the economy — as predicted 3+ years ago — do not lead to massive gains for Republicans in both the house and senate then that is a failure of your party. And it isn’t looking like that is going to happen.

He absolutely admitted to stealing them — he has asserted they were his and he had psychically declassified them which isn’t possible as there is a process to do that.

So if he took something that he didn’t have permission to take, what does that mean?

As to 2024 — when is the last time you people won the will of the people’s vote in a presidential election? I could be wrong but I think you might be disappointed

I do love that you are in a thread about trump and are still so upset that dear leader is being discussed. Such a fascinating ideology.

What’s even more humorous is in a forum compromised mostly of republicans trumpism is being rejected as disastrous and yet “independents” are are the ones upset.

First off, agree with all your points.
It’s probably because some have never taken the risk and ran successful businesses, and would rather have career politicians chart their course, promising the world but delivering very little in return.

Demonizing the rich has always been a favorite pastime of the have nots or the greedy who don’t mind big taxes that benefit the collective beyond what is reasonable.
At any rate, Trump knows that those who take all the risk, should know best how to invest their own money.

It's nothing compared to Trump and his cult's attack on democracy. Not even close.

You cannot get around the fact that the economy has always done better under the Democrats

On top of that, under the Democrat administrations

    1) Health care has been better
    2) Consumer protection has been better
    3) Environment and environment protection has been better
    4) Equal opportunity and human rights have been better
    5) Criminal Justice has been better
    6) Racial equity has been better
    7) Labor protection has been better

Simply stated, the Democrats have been better for most everything

Are voters uninformed? The reader will decide.

The Times reports, "A variety of data suggests that the electorate’s attention is shifting back to issues where Republicans are on stronger ground in public opinion, like the economy, inflation, crime and immigration, and away from the summer’s focus on democracy, gun violence, and abortion, where Democrats have an edge.

During the Reagan-to-Trump timeline, the Republican presidencies had four recessions start in their terms: one each under Reagan and George H. W. Bush, and two under George W. Bush. By contrast, Democrats Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had zero. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...versee-recessions-dems-recoveries/5235957002/

With full employment, substantial job growth, and robust spending, the Biden economy is on fire. Inflation is a by-product of prosperity. To change that, unemployment must increase causing less spending. That will result in lower prices. It is called a recession. Does the voter want a recession? That's what they are saying. Is that why they think Republicans can do a better job with the economy?

The truth is, in a free enterprise system there is very little the federal government can do about the economy.

Four Republican Presidents, Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, and Trump could not solve the immigration problem.

Bad guys use illegal guns. The NRA-sponsored Republican Party is strongly opposed to meaningful gun control that would keep guns out of the hands of bad guys and lonely teenagers with mental problems.

The Republican Party supports government control of a pregnant woman's body. What else do they want to control?

The Republican Party is led by Donald Trump. Not only did Trump incite a riot in our capitol on Jan. 6, 2020, but he is attacking the basis of American democracy by challenging the results of a free election. He is joined by countless Republicans running for office and/or members of Congress.

In addition, "During Donald Trump’s presidency, Trump hotels charged the Secret Service as much as $1,185 per night, more than five times the recommended government rate, and the high rates continued after he left office," NBC, thus providing a clue as to the personality of the Republican leader.

The Hill reports, "Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) took a shot at Republican challenger Herschel Walker for skipping a debate held by the Atlanta Press Club on Sunday.

"Warnock was introduced along with Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver, while Walker was represented by an empty lectern."

Republicans will remain totally silent on the issues presented.

We have the result of our third New York Times/Siena College national survey of the midterm cycle to go with your coffee this morning: 49 percent of voters say they back the Republican congressional candidate in their district, compared with 45 percent backing the Democratic one," the Times.
