I know many Puerto Ricans who don't like Mexicans. I imagine the feelings are mutual. You really know nothing about "Hispanics" other then whatever drivel you read on the internet. Hispanic is not a race. For example, there are white Puerto Ricans in my neighborhood, and some black/brown ones.

Call a Puerto Rican a Mexican and you'll really see someone lose their mind.

The best thing about diversity is the variety of choices in women.

Actually I did. She was my friends girlfriend and it hurt our relationship a bit because I told her she was tripping out and it didn't matter. I actually yelled at her about being a (*)(*)(*)(*)head about hispanics and she disagreed so we didn't talk anymore. Just like I do with everyone.

You don't have to tell me. I have dated outside my race for a good 20 years up until recently. Good times. Brown is delicious.

If you want to test your thesis, replace the word 'white' with 'black' and see what you sound like. You see skin color first, instead of the uniqueness of individuals. If you saw individuals, you'd never mention what you did - but you don't.

Sorry pork chop, you're not turning this around. This is on you. I get plenty of diversity by enjoying the uniqueness of each individual. It is you who sees so pathetically few groups and are hung up on race.

So wanting to be around mainly white people is racist even if you dont dislike other races?

But for Africans, Asians, Arabs and any other race forming communities is just fine? Im guess remaining major majorities in their home countries its fine to?

I see race and individualism from each race. You are confused I see. If a black dude told me he found it boring to be around only black people and like diversity no one is going to think he is racist except someone of is projecting their own short comings.

Not at all but rarely is that what the racists on this site are talking about.

Early Korean immigrants began their journey to the U.S. in Hawaii, where they were recruited for plantation work. The majority of the present Korean population came after the 1965 immigration law opened up new opportunities to immigrate. Koreans have the highest self-employment rate among U.S. Asians.

My kids lived in a nice neighborhood that was very diverse-- Indians, blacks, mixed race couples, whites and even a lesbian couple at the end of the block. It was an asset. The schools could be bad..but that was because bad kids out of our neighborhood was bussed to them.
I would say it was a positive experience. But kids do notice color. I nearly died when my 4 year old daughter visited a doctor and said " you have black skin like my friend Star.". Awkward.

I don't see why she's concerned. It's not like it is at the Federal level, where the government uses force to stop you selling your property to foreigners or allowing them to enter your property - people can move freely between the states.

That's all that's necessary. You don't need to go out of your way to create a diverse society. Just stop actively preventing it.

Hear, hear! And I love this self-righteous excerpt from the article, talking like she's doing all of us a favor for pointing out how guilty that she is for being white:

The funny thing is that only a white person would talk like this. Is that a racist observation? "Ironic" would be a better word for it, in that I am using racism to point out another person's racism. And she is obviously a liberal, because only a self-entitled liberal white woman would use her full name in her article. :D

No, there's no difference. Identifying people by their skin color/and or "race" is the basic definition of a racist. For after all, the supposed Liberal idol Dr. King had a dream that we would judge their children "not by the content of their skin, but the context of their character."

The reality is this: You don't think it's "possible" to be racist against White Americans, so it's okay to racially discriminate against them. This has been developing for quite some time, and if we do god forbid become a minority, one can't imagine the level of racism White Americans will face.

we've already been sold out by "our" own country, I can't imagine what'll happen when the Liberal progressive crowd feels the numbers on their side.

Being racists means you feel superior to a race or that another race is inferior to your race not noticing that there are other races. What a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing stupid thing to say.

Dr. King would disagree(Ironically, he was a Republican), as would other astute posters on this board that I've gotten the privilege of knowing. In fact, here's a dictionary.

    Tada

Saying "I only recognize race" is like saying I know the English Alphabet but I don't speak English. Much like with the "insured" number for the ACA, this is the kind of crock I expect from a salesman, not an intellectual.

It's only in fact because of false Liberal theorem in the first place that one tries to hold a silly proposition as to deny racialism to begin with. In reality, we're all racists. This is because, at least IMHO "race" doesn't exist. It's a Social Construct, so I've deemed them "Social Groups", as to be more accurate.

Asians are not a "different breed of human.", they're humans who(as biological science has determined) have different pigmented skin due to living on the islands. Similarly, what we've come to know to be Africans are toned due to living in the forests. And likewise, those who lived in fair or cold conditions sometimes as the Eskimos, also were genetically modified by nature.

So does a bigot identify race? Is it the race itself that concerns the racist? I don't believe so. It's the social standards, the attitudes and the outlooks of the naturally different Social Groups. You yourself pointed out internal disputes among Hispanics. Those internal disputes, defy what we "know" to be general racism.

Racism is a construct, a pre-20th century construct that we've kept because it's all too simple and easy to "blame" something or someone on their supposed "race", etc. Both the 'bigoted' racist, and the 'white progressive liberal' are ignorant fools who have such a failed shortsighted vision as to be incapable of seeing anything beyond the pigmentation of the human body.

Here, a little info on the genetic modification nature's done over the years.

Yes, you are the only correct person in society. Race is just make believe and not real. Sometimes people can try and be to smart and end up at a dumb conclusion trying to be intellectual. Race exists whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. No one said anyone is a different breed just there there are other races, black, white, indian, etc........to ignore this on some cyclical argument about pigmentation is ridiculous. Once you realize that what you believe to be true isn't what most people believe you will realize that everything you think is just a construct of your mind relative to you personally. Now, most if not all, see it different in their own construct. It doesn't mean you're right or I'm right but by social norms most believe there are other races because they can see them with their eye's.

So to pretend race doesn't exist is to deny what most hold true in a general sense and elevate yourself above everyone else. I'm sorry to break it to you but you and I are not that smart nor that right. What I can tell you is that you hold an opinion that in modern society doesn't hold true.

Surrender is sometimes a very noble concept, when you know you're so utterly outmatched quietly bowing out is better than making a spectacle of oneself. In this case, I'd like to urge you to surrender. The proposition that race doesn't exist isn't mine alone, it's a scientific certainty. If I'm to stab one more dagger in the 20th century theorem, DNA studies have come out and have very strongly supported the 21st century thesis of Humanism.

    Goodbye past relic

Hello, 21st century. By proposing racial differences, even the 'well meaning Liberal' continues to set back the people they supposedly want to help. Ah, the irony.

You are confusing a narrow view in science for what happens in the real world. Race is a real thing regardless of science and it exists in the minds of the populace. Go to work tomorrow and ask any person you come across what race they are and I am certain not one will say I am not any race. See, this is where you have out thought yourself. You believe your intellect is superior but the problem is that no one but you and a minute minority holds your position. Your position doesn't hold true in real life no matter what you believe. Reality is a funny thing because even though scientifically what you say may be true it isn't relevant to the real world. This is what I am trying to tell you but your ego is getting in the way of the real world. This is why i am telling you what you think is ridiculous. What you think means nothing to everyone else. People have this false sense that they are always right when the opposites is almost always true. One day you will see that you are full of (*)(*)(*)(*), just like I am full of (*)(*)(*)(*), just like everyone is, and that anything you ever think to be true means absolutely nothing outside of yourself and you and me are a fart in the wind that mean zero outside of our immediate environment which doesn't mean (*)(*)(*)(*) now or in the future.

We ain't (*)(*)(*)(*) and we will never be (*)(*)(*)(*).

The sooner you realize it the sooner you can be free.

    Calm down if possible.

If I walked into work and asked my fellow employees what race they are, they would look at me like I was a fool as if it makes any difference. People who are obsessed about race usually have an agenda. Get out once in a while and leave your anger at home.
