all those she claimed was at the party then could show proof that they were somewhere else at that time
or the occupants of the place could show there wasn't any party there at that time
you get away with a lie if you give no specifics so no one can then disprove the specifics if none is given

The thing is....those she nominated actuallly were at the Party (or one very similar) as per notations made by Bart in his Year Book, and she nominated those people before Bart released his Year Book publicly.

Correct. There is no mention of a Party at which he says Ford was present. However, there were entries of Parties of the kind described by Ford....and she was not to know that when she gave her statement. She did not know that, as Bart, at the she gave her statement, had not made is Year Book public.

 

And I am pointing out that she was traumatized and is still traumatized. You simply cannot decide what she does and does not remember.

 

She did not have to testify and she certainly is intelligent. It was pure common sense for her not to testify because the result was predictable and she knew that she would be denigrated and that she and her family would be threatened. So yes, she was lacking in common sense.
