I've been paying taxes for decades. In a way some would think strange, I never much worried about it. Just wanted to be middle class, with hard work, good pay, & good benefits. That's what happened and I'm still working. Life is good for me. If I were to worry about it, I would think there has been worse things my tax dollars has been used for. Maybe educating illegal children isn't that high on my list. Just my take on it. I'm sure others feel different than I do.

Been turned down for some fruit-picking jobs lately? Are you seeking employment is hospitality services?

Why would employers hire illegals instead of qualified Americans?

Does Ann Frank ring any bells? Do you, as a JEW, have any particular views that might be unavailable to us heathens?

If you don't mind, I will be using that in my sigline.

"No Criminal record means they haven't been caught yet, since they are illegal. "

Exactly, My brothers son-in-law was working as a roofer, going to school and was making $17 an hour. One morning he went to work and was laid off (he could have kept his job had he spoken Spanish). His whole crew was replaced by illegals at $10 an hour.

If there was a heavy handed, military type mass arrest of illegals, I would hide, feed and clothe any * non-criminal illegal *. (yes, it is an redundant)

I am a supporter of nationalism, but also a supporter of myself, so sure I'd have no objection to hiding an alien if we were close. Perhaps even for money, who knows. The opportinity has never come up.

That's not incompatible with support for the illegality of harboring illegal aliens. This isn't an option in the poll, so I will abstain.

Of course I would. And I just might make it a point to do so.

Illegals and run-away slaves are two different things. Slaves were wrongly held against their will. Illegal Immigrants crossed over the borders illegally and yes even the children. If we "let the children stay here", that's pretty much amnesty and we've already been there and done that. It'd promote an increase of border crossings.

There's no 'clean' solution to this problem but I believe Mr. Rubio's was the closest: Deport the criminals, secure the borders and THEN talk about the future of immigration.

    No.
I don't want people here who trample our laws. I'd help the authorities find them and boot them out.

Yes I would, without hesitation, especially if their only crime is being here illegally. This would also include mass roundups and arrests.

I'm somewhere between the first and second option; I wouldn't shelter anyone who had just hopped over the border, but if they had been here for, oh, more than five years or so? I probably would. I'm really, really opposed to tearing people away from their established homes, families, and economic opportunities.

I like to camp in the desert along the border in spring. It's beautiful desert with lots of remote areas to hike and MT bike and just hang out in the sun after a long snowy winter. It's suggested you leave water bottles at your camp overnight or if you leave camp in the day to help stop illegals from breaking into your trailer looking for water. I do that but I leave the water dosed with a bit of laxative  I will not be threatened give water or be broken into. I have a right to camp remotely in my own freaking country. Screw these people breaking into my home( America). Would you offer refreshments to a burglar breaking down the door of your house?

If you caught someone breaking into your house would you offer them refreshments? Offer to hold their bag as they pry your door open? Maybe take them to lunch after a hard morning burglarizing you?
