Include within the provisions of each agency that their service is dependent upon the request of the Chief Law Enforcement Official in any given jurisdiction. What this would generally mean: -ICE cannot enforce immigration laws in immigration sanctuary jurisdictions -BATFE cannot enforce firearms laws in second amendment sanctuary jurisdictions -DEA cannot enforce marijuana laws in jurisdictions that have legalized cannabis -etc.
There is a clear divide in powers and duties of the different jurisdiction of our federal system. Cities should not be able to dictate how immigration enforcement is conducted. As for the DEA and BATFE, the same applies. City law should not trump federal. State law though at times should be able to but not on immigration. Again that is not their purview. Though narcotics and weapons I could see being within the states jurisdiction as long as they did not cross state lines.
Leaving weed laws to each jurisdiction is completely harmless, so sure go ahead. For guns, you can't have "2nd Amendment sanctuaries" without repealing the 2nd Amendment, by definition. And for legalizing illegal immigration in certain places, how do you prevent illegals from moving everywhere once they're in the country? That sounds horribly impractical to enforce, you'd have to check every person leaving the sanctuary area.
On the other hand, it would make sure most of them would stay in the leftest hells that protect them.
Centralizing power like that is dangerous. Here in WA, Seattle is able to pass laws for the entire state that are unpopular in the rest of the state. Gun control is the perfect example. We're currently experiencing a 'gun control rebellion' where laws passed by the staggering population advantage of King County (Seattle) in 2018 are being refused to be enforced by roughly 3/4 of the other counties in the state.
I heard in a video yesterday that ICE was being attacked..... due to the fact that ICE was going after Human Traffickers so some very influential and extremely wealthy people want to neuter it...... in order to protect themselves and their partners in especially hideous types of crime?!
