I don't Care about what a President does in the bedroom, unless he's chosen to sign new spending bills and creating new institutionalized racial discrimination departments in that venue... In the 2012 election, I personally care about one over arching issue, are we going to reset our goal toward racial blindness, or will we continue down this distructive and ultimately self-defeating path of allowing the goverment to institute radical racial discrimination that would be justifiably condemed in a heart were it done against anyone other than white men.

Most legitimate polls show Romney in either within the margin of error or ahead in key battleground states such as N Carolina, Florida etc. Obama cannot run on his own record so his only tactic is atempting to destroy Romney's and no matter how much distortion is required. The appearance with Trump was just a aspirin to keep Trump from developing into a headache later on. With Trump's financial assets and his influence in certain demographic groups it is best to keep on his good side.

Romney's strategy of "pre-buttal" is paying off. Democrats can't get an issue to take root because Romney is busy trumping Obama's every speech. If Romney were silent and playing nice with Obama, then the bored news media would grab onto some of these National Enquirer-like headlines "Elvis back from the dead with amazing new UFO sex diet", and people would be forced to swallow this doo-doo. But Romney keeps punching Obama and moving on. Obama's team is off balance right now. None of this bothers the Democratic faithful, but it does work on the independent voters.
