I cannot hate something that doesn't exist. If you have evidence that god exists, show it to me. Until then, to any semi-educated person you look like a fool. You, especially with that last sentence, claim that Atheists demand evidence, and then immediately deny God's existence once the evidence is given to us. Let me ask you.... WHAT EVIDENCE!? I'mj still waiting for this mysterious evidence that is apparently common knowledge. And no, seeing Jesus's face in your breakfast does not count.

It does not suggest that at all. All it suggests is that the Universe is finite. And by the way, that is not a fact. That is st ill something scientists don't know, since we do not know what lies beyond the observable universe.

Theists claim many God's do not exist as well, for the same reasons Atheists do

remember... Atheists only believe in one less God then Christians do

There are no Atheist "beliefs". The definition of Atheism is the lack of belief in a god(s). That's it. Any other personal beliefs or prejudices the individual holds are just that, personal beliefs and prejudices.

Are you trying to talk about Dawkins or Hawking?

In either case, I wouldn't believe them if they claimed to have personal knowledge that there is no God, yet did not demonstrate it with evidence.

I only accept empirical evidence as proof. Period.

No double standard, though I do appreciate you lying about my position. Just shows everyone else how intellectually bankrupt you are.

I don't think Incorporeal has listened very closely to what Dr. Dawkins or Dr. Hawking has said about the existence of gods and how they personally regard the question.

do you believe in the Christian God... simple question, yes or no....

I did not say Atheists had this or that belief "belief", but if asked if they believed in this or that god, what would they say?

Atheists would give the same "no" answer one more time then a Christian would with the same list of Gods

Let's say it's 3:00 AM in the inner city. A man is walking down the street on the sidewalk, when he spots two shady men fighting and struggling in an alleyway. Nobody is around except these three men. One of the shady men kills the other by shooting him a few times in the chest and stomach. The murderer then looks up, realizes he's been spotted, and runs the other direction down the alley.

Instead of giving chase, the witness calls the police and tries to help the murdered shady man.

The witness is taken to the police station to give a report. All they have as "evidence" is the dead body and the witness' testimony.

Atheists are claiming that a witness is "not evidence"??? This is how crazy and ridiculous atheists are, and atheism is!!! Atheism is an irrational, emotional driven, unreasonable religion. Atheists want to deny ALL WITNESS accounts and ALL TESTIMONIES regarding God. Not a single one is ever true. Why is this ridiculous? Because it's unreasonable. It's unreasonable to AUTOMATICALLY throw out, disbelieve, and doubt testimony, as it is in the murder case of the two shady men and the one witness.

What atheists are demanding is "physical evidence" of the murderer, that the murderer exists. And the witness' testimony is never enough, never trusted.

Atheists are claiming that the "murderer did not exist". Because all they have is the dead body and the witness account. There is not "physical evidence" of the murderer, and that he exists.

It turns out, however, that the murderer was fighting in self defense, against a mugger. And he snatched the gun away, and shot in self defense. But when he saw that somebody witnessed the self defense killing, the murderer fled the scene? Why? Because he was just released from jail a few months ago, on charges of theft. He was a felon with a record. He didn't want to stay around and risk getting thrown in jail with his bad reputation. So the murder was actually justified.

But atheists, being out of touch with reality as they are, claim that the "murderer doesn't exist!!!" because "there is no physical evidence!!!"

It would appear as tho you are once again demonstrating the ignorance of faith.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnostic_atheism

What part of I do not believe in any religions version of god do you not understand? And while we are at it, perhaps you can list the various versions of god that are not described by religion.

    Any and all empirical evidence.

apparently you aren't that strong in the english department either. "We" as in the literary sense meaning mankind.

    Adjective
(of a manifestation or event) Attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature.

Come back when you have learned the difference between ignorance and intelligence.

    And your point is?

The validity of Christian logic is there for all to see.

Based on an almost complete ignorance of the workings of the physical environment around them, the ancient peoples "religious logic" is assailable simply on the grounds that their conclusions were arrived at in the absence of what we consider basic knowledge today. if the underlying tenets of your constructed world view are erroneous, then the view is skewed to the point of invalidity.

I am amazed that a computer scientist does not have a complete grasp of logical thinking and logical constructs, let alone the difference between ignorance and intelligence.

No. I do not believe in something that has no evidence. I do not "believe" in the Christian god for the same reason I don't "believe" in flying saucers, ghosts, or any other deities. If god shows up tomorrow and makes himself known, then I will accept the fact that god exists. However, that still hasn't happened, and thus, there is no evidence your god exists. And so, the Christian god has to go up their on the shelf along with Thor, Zeus, Kane, and the Kraken.

You have to remember that "not believing" in something is not the same thing as denying that that something exists. It would be silly to proclaim that something there is no evidence for does not exist with confidence. I simply don't know if god exists or not. And so far, there is no evidence, not one single piece of evidence, that your Christian god exists.

no, Atheists are saying you do not have evidence with your witness, all you have is the one telling the story, no evidence

Atheists don't want to see the face of Christ. That doesn't mean that Christ and God does not exist!

Just because you don't want to see something, and don't want something to become true, doesn't mean that its existence is destroyed or vanished.

Atheism IS about hating things that don't exist. That's the essence of atheism.

The essence of atheism is hating things which don't exist. Problem is, atheists are too coward to talk about these things which "don't exist". What and Who doesn't exist? Explain it to me. I want to know what doesn't exist.....to atheists. Tell me about it.

Talk about this "non existence" to me.

Any murder would have external physical evidence beyond a witness's testimony. If a murder occurs and the only evidence is from a witness, more than likely it will get thrown out. There are numerous reasons for this but they can all be summed up pretty simply: witness testimony is unreliable.

For that exact same reason, I won't accept it as evidence of a god. At least in the case of a murder, we are talking about a physical natural phenomena that could be repeated but not such thing exists with a supernatural phenomena like a god.

You want to convince me to not be an atheist, give me scientific, empirical, and objective evidence for that god's existence.

BTW your second to last paragraph demonstrates perfectly why witness testimony is not reliable. Thank you for supporting my argument.

Also, no one would be claiming "that the murderer didn't exist". Physical phenomena like a murder requires that there be a murderer.

The legal system EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD disagrees with you and atheism.

I guess atheists don't believe in the legal system, because the legal system ACCEPTS and TRUSTS witnesses and testimonies?????????

exactly, and on that shelf you put all the other gods, if a Christian did the same, their shelf would only have one less god then yours

    PROVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wait, you can't. You set your premise to reject all testimony and witness accounts. There is NO WAY to "PROVE" the existence of the murderer, according to YOU and your ATHEISM!!!!!!

Translation: "I cannot present evidence for a God except for supernatural, untestable, and I falsifiable claims of personal witness so I'm going to try to avoid answering the question."

you do not have a credible witness nor evidence, no court would convict on that alone, especially when the credibility of the witness is at question based on their recount of what happened

Murders are physical phenomena that occur in reality. By that definition, they have to leave physical evidence.

Your religious claims of witness would be more like a guy running up to the police and claiming to have witnessed a murder, but there is no murder suspect, no dead body, no weapon, no missing person, and no motive. But the police need to believe that the murder happened or else they'll be tortured forever.

What do you think would happen to that person? My guess is commitment.

And what would God "have to do" to prove Himself to you, to prove His existence to you, as if He depended on you, and you did not depend upon Him???

Stand on one foot and jump up and down, one mile up and down???

The problem with atheists is this........even if God does such a thing, then you STILL WILL NOT BELIEVE HIM! You will close your minds off, no matter what God does. You will close your eyes, and reject reject reject. You won't hold to your words. Atheists are LIARS. Even if atheists say "God would do this or that to prove himself to me, to MY VANITY!" guess what??? God could do such a thing and atheists, being the weasely pathetic liars that they are....would still say "NO THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" in the end.

Atheists want to always move the bar. Because their religion is so crazy and insane. Atheists will do everything they can, which thankfully is very little, to prevent God from existing, when it is far, far too obvious to everybody else in the entire world that HE DOES EXIST!!!!!

This post doesn't make any sense. I honestly don't know what else more I can say. It seems you have a problem with Atheists, and seem quite hostile toward the idea of Atheism, which I think is clouding your judgement and reason on the issue. As has been said before, Atheism is simply the lack of believe in a diety, and it ends there. If you encountered an Atheist who was on a personal vendetta against your religion, that has nothing to do with Atheism, and everything to do with his personality.

Atheism really isn't "about" anything, and there are no goals or beliefs like religion. Atheism is just the way to describe the default state of opinion on religion, when someone has no opinion on it. People are Atheists because they don't believe in God, not because they deny God. There's a difference.

Great so atheists prove that the murderer cannot exist without "physical evidence".

Atheists should never serve on a trial or jury then!!!!!!!

Atheists will never believe in testimony and witness accounts.

    - - - Updated - - -

On the contrary, it's atheists who have the problem with TRUE CHRISTIANITY and always harass good Christian people.

If anything, I am defending Christians from atheist BULLIES.

To call atheism is a religion is complete lunacy. I don't think you understand what Atheism is. Don't you think you should know what Atheism is before you attack it?

More like the policemen are atheists and refuse to take all evidence produced by the witness. The witness keeps showing the policemen clues, items, the murder weapon, photos of people involved, testimonies, doing all the detective work themselves....but the police just don't want to believe the obvious.

Maybe the police are covering up the murder, ever think of that???

no one hates your belief in God, they just do not want you to base laws like Blasphemy, ect.. on them, any more then you want laws based on Sharia law, same thing, separation of church and state allows everyone to believe as they want

Even if the witness of the murder is drunk, that doesn't mean the murderer "does not exist".

    THAT is the atheist claim!
