Whoever put it up was forced to take it down. Texas has been flooded by Californians seeking refuge from that failing state; which is fine. But rather than learning any sort of lesson from leftist policies turning California into an open sewer they come to Texas and immediately begin trying to push failed leftist policies and ideology into practice here. They will not . . . learn.

They are leaving California because so many people want to live there, half the people there can't afford to. So basically California is sending Texas their losers - the people who couldn't cut it.

We're getting plenty of winners -- businesses who decided to pursue lower taxes, businesses who expanded from Cali to Texas to attract more talent, property investors who recognize a good prospect, high-skilled workers pursing more affordable property/living conditions, etc. As far as the ribs go, though, the brisket is better IMHO. I visit the Bay Area sometimes, though, and I'll admit that you can't beat the weather.

Everyone here in Texas knows that it isn't the California politics that are the problem. It's the shitty burgers they insist on bringing along with them. Just leave the In-N-Out on the curb and let me take you to a Whataburger. Ya'll Wisconsinites can keep it coming, though. Culvers is legit.

Texas has large urban centers and is, or at least has been, a big area for industries such as video game development, and these invariably draw people who aren't uneducated country hicks. You'll notice that red states tend to be dominated by rural life. Where there are cities, there are white collar professionals and other people with more than a high school education (who will tend to be liberal).

Who would have imagined that this bunch would have come from Austin, for instance: https://atheist-community.org/

You have obviously never been to Austin, it's motto is keep Austin wierd. Lots of artistic types, musicians and such, which are mostly liberal.

But their weather smells. I’ll take the occasional feed lot smell over the stench of the homeless any day.

When Texas goes purple the GOP will no longer be able to count on it for the EC votes.
