Are you going to jail women who have a miscarriage too?

That depends on if women actually have a "choice" to abort or not

If women actually have a choice to abort, then no

If women actually don't have a choice to abort, then maybe

I am talking about natural miscarriage - something you seem determined to absolve God from doing. Although I have to ask "Why is "God" responsible for a fertilised egg that does implant and develop but NOT responsible for all those that do not implant and therefore never develop? IF "God" is responsible for one then he/she/it must also be responsible for the other.

So, a woman has a "threatened Miscarriage" and the decision is made to terminate the pregnancy because the possibility of danger to her health through continued bleeding - guilty or not guilty?

A woman drinks 20 cups of coffee and big helping of Paw paw (known abortifacients) and subsequently has a miscarriage - guilty or not guilty?

A 11 year old is raped by her mothers boyfriend - she has an abortion - guilty or not guilty

A 53 year old woman going through change of life finds she is pregnant but the foetus is Anencephalic - she aborts - guilty or not guilty?

Is this for real? I mean, it's not a joke or an over-the-top parody?

First of all if she is a believer God knows her heart and knows what she is trying to do. If the law finds out she is trying to kill her unborn she might be in trouble. You can only hire the hit done by a professional killer. And a 53 year old…..wow…thats pretty old.

The fact is you kill the life in the womb you are guilty. If it is threatening you life I believe it is different and the woman has the right to save hers. This almost never happens…in most cases both mother and baby can be saved.

Taking, plotting, hiring a hit done on an innocent life…is wrong.

Miscarriages….are not hired hits…abortions are. If you can't see the difference between them then….wow you are ill educated on this.

Miscarriages can be forced and intentional however. There are many abortifacients a woman can take with the intention of causing a miscarriage. So it would only be logical to investigate each and every miscarriage and make sure there was no foul play you know!

Most miscarriage happen naturally. Birth control…can cause abortion…but it is not done intentionally. That is why…the pill should be illegal as every other abortifacent. If abortion was illegal….then yes…investigations might be in order…but they aren't…and any woman can hire the hit.

Wow. So would you deny the pill to women who actually need it for medical reasons too because it 'might' cause a miscarriage?

What the religious right really thinks is that girls who take the pill for cramps will have sex.

Wonderful! I get to expand your medical knowledge on the wonders and positives of BIRTH CONTROL! I am very excited to enlighten you on the benefits of this unique drug. =)

The first issue that comes to mind is actually the one that Sandra Fluke argued for. She had a friend who had polycystic ovary syndrome and birth control pills could have saved her ovary but the Georgetown University's healthcare plan for students does not cover birth control pills, not even for medical reasons. She could not afford the pills and so lost her ovary as the result of that. It was sad too because Fluke's friend was a lesbian, so there was extremely minimal to no risk of her ever getting pregnant or attempting to get pregnant while she was on the pill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandra_Fluke

Also here are some other great reasons to use birth control.

It's sad that you don't understand the severe pain of menstrual cramps that some women endure. In my early teens I used to suffer extremely severe and horrible cramps. It was so horrible I literally could not function on a daily basis for the entire duration of my period. Pain killers did nothing to help me either. It was so bad it would leave me leaning over the toilet vomiting my guts up for hours and then just heaving after I emptied out my stomach. I would curl up into a ball in my bed and cry and literally beg God (because I was believer at this time) to stop the pain for hours. I finally got on birth control when I was 16 and it completely relieved my menstrual pain. So go ahead and make fun all you like, but some women truly do suffer horrible cramps.

I originally took the pill for cramps, now I take it for both cramps and to avoid pregnancy since I am in a committed relationship. The number one reason for taking it for me though is just so I can function on a regular basis during my period. Even if I were to stop dating and stop having sex forever I would still take the pill just for that reason alone.

And statistics show girls have sex.

"Based on data from a two year period between 2006 and 2008, it found more than 42 percent - or 4.3 million - teenage girls have had sex at least once. That number was 43 percent - or 4.5 million - for teenage boys. Nearly 30 percent of boys and girls surveyed have had 2 or more partners. Teenage girls who were younger when they had their first sexual encounter were more likely to have more partners. And teens whose mothers had their first child as a teenager and, at 14, did not have both parents in the home were more likely to be sexually active.

The encouraging news is that nearly 80 percent of teenage girls and 90 percent of teen boys used some sort of contraceptive during their first sexual encounter. Condoms remain the most commonly used form of birth control. Ninety-five percent of sexually experienced girls used them at least once. Withdrawal was next, followed by the pill."

What is a committed relationship…one that is going on until it is uncommitted?

Well clearly you did not know that the pill has other medical uses aside from preventing pregnancy.

Is Vicodin over the counter? Also that is not the reason I stopped believing in Christianity. Stop making assumptions about someone you know nothing about.

Hell I work at a CPC…I know what birth control does and its uses. Is the pill over the counter? How do girls get the pill? And if she has to get a prescription for it…then one for vicodin could be issued as well…if the pain was that bad.

Well I was a kid at the time and I wasn't the one making my medical decisions. My mother was, apparently she did not feel the need to take me to a doctor at the time because she has the same horrible cramps I do. So I don't know what her thoughts were at the time, but I never got prescribed heavy medication for cramps.

You could be 156 and still learn more about this subject because if you think you know it all then you do not know enough by a long long long stretch.

But to be honest it appears from your posts that your conceptual framework is somewhat lacking in relation to the whole subject of reproductive health and also seemingly from confirmation bias

To be honest…..have you ever been honest? I don't think half of you pro-aborts even know what you believe..your positions are not logical and they are hypocritical. I have only seen one on here own up to the proabort position. But bottom line don't care what you think…I mean what qualifies you to know anything about this? Do you google a lot?
