    I don't question your claim, but would like to verify it with stats from as neutral a source as is obtainable. Also, what is a progressive libertarian? Sounds like a contradiction in terms, unless you are calling for volunteerism.

    it is impossible for Trump to be a bully, he is the underdog in this race.

    every rich corporation from sea to shining sea is backing clinton, Trump is only standing his ground with his talk.

    but yes, we must support our dear leader when the time comes or be put on watch lists, indefinitely detained, have our privacy invaded instead of protected from bad guys, lose second amendment liberty, and the list goes on and on.

    Not much is going to change except the supreme court is safe now. At least now I don't have to worry about egotistical, impulsive Trump having real power.

    If Trump doesn't have corporate backing then it's because Trump drove them away which has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. About a year ago the Koch brothers alone promised a billion dollars to support the Republican presidential candidate. I don't know if they're carrying through with the promise because Trump is going to be the nominee but if they don't it's solely because Trump is the presumptive nominee. They're sure as hell not going to give a dime to the Clinton campaign. We've also seen several major corporate backers of the Republican Party withdraw financial support because Trump is the presumptive nominee.

    the corporations are the bad guys, it is not Trump, or even clinton to be fair.

    they are outsourcing jobs, using illegal immigrant labor, and selling out the middle class for money and profits. whoever they are backing is not who the people should be backing.

    if clinton wins, the corporations and their greed wins, and the people will have lost and will have no choice but to accept it.

    The study was conducted in 2009 by the Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance both of which are politically neutral. This study has not been disputed by any other study on the subject.

    Progressive Libertarian literally mean a person that seeks to move forward in a pragmatic step-by-step process to achieve the objectives of libertarianism which is the Freedom to Exercise our Natural Rights. From a political ideological perspective it's the embracing of the words of one of the most progressive libertarians in American history, supported by other very progressive libertarians, that's embodied in these words.

    "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (people) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

    This is, of course, from the US Declaration of Independence and it established the revolutionary political ideology upon which our nation was founded where those like Thomas Jefferson were advocating sweeping change not just to government but to society as well. It was perhaps the most extreme case of progressive libertarianism of it's era.

    It's about a government established for the protection of the "Freedom to Exercise" our "Unalienable/Inalienable/Natural Rights" and to ensure the equality of all people in society from violations by others in society. If that "Freedom" and/or "Equality" is being violated by others in society then this same government has a responsibility to mitigate those violations. That ideology is about a proactive government working to bring equality and freedom to every single person permanently living in America and where every person permanently living in America, citizens and non-citizens alike, empowers our government with their "consent" through their vote for those that represent them.

    There are some that mistakenly believe that our government was created to protect us from the abuse of government but that's an illogical proposition. If we wanted to protect ourselves from the abuse of government we wouldn't have a government at all that could abuse us.

    This "libertarian" political ideology that America was founded upon is about the protection of the person from the racist, the xenophobe, the homophobe, the misogynist, and the religiously intolerant that through their actions violate our Freedom to Exercise our Natural Rights and, when that Freedom is violated then this same government has a responsibility to mitigate the effects of those violations. It's there to protect us from the actions of the "capitalist" (owners of enterprise) that would subjugate the workers to economic slavery and violate our natural rights by spoiling and destroying the land, water, and air for profit and when the "capitalist" commits these violations of our natural rights the government is responsible for mitigating the effects of these actions. It's the ideology where our criminal justice system isn't about punishment but instead it's about protection.

    That's what it means to be a "progressive libertarian" because it embraces to role of government to protect us and to mitigate the effects of the actions of others that violate our natural rights. It's about changing not just our government but also about changing our society to pragmatically eliminate the violations of the Rights of the Person by others in society.

    We have a very long ways to go in achieving this libertarian goal, and we probably never will because it's a utopian goal, but that doesn't prevent us from "progressing" in that direction as a society. Hince the term "Progressive Libertarian" that you asked about.

    A shrug of the shoulders, maybe a shake of the head. However I will always wonder how in the world could our two major political parties nominate two such bottom of the barrel dregs for us to choose from. Especially when each party had excellent candidates available. But when the Republicans nominated Trump, I resigned myself to a President Clinton. I may not like the idea, but I accepted it.

    Now the only question left to be answered under her administration is how much harm will she do to this country? We just survived two below average presidents in a row, can we survive a really bad one? We'll find out that answer beginning 20 Jan 2017.

    I would have no response. I already lost all faith in the U.S. when Obama was elected. He's a commie who hates America and gets his jollies by dividing us (rich vs. poor, white vs. black, male vs. female).

    Most Americans are now "takers" and all they want is a leader who will keep their government checks coming in.
