14-18 years. She could out in just over a decade. Whatever happened to a life sentence? A lot of Americans wanted to see her fry for what she did to that poor little kid. As I don't support capital punishment, I wouldn't wish to see her executed, but she should have been sent to prison for the rest of her life. She avoided a trial by pleading guilty to second degree murder, which probably explains the light sentence. 2nd degree murder? She killed this little girl and cut off her head!!
