Dude, you have no idea what you're talking about. Modern housing is not just available in tourist areas and the hotels that I'm speaking of are part of the fabric of the city. Tourists would be most likely to check in because they'd need a place to sleep but black Africans living nearby go there for dancing, dinner and musical entertainment. They go to the theatre and night clubs. Of course there are modern amenities in black people's houses and there are very nice houses, too. There are also shacks. It just depends on how much money you have. Electricity is commonplace in cities. Internet cafes are just part of the landscape, accessible to black Africans in the cities. You should be embarrassed that you didn't know how prevalent cell phone usage is there. You also don't seem to get that there are more than 50 countries in Africa. Ebola has been found in very few of them - I believe the number is three out of 54. Nigeria, the wealthiest of the three, was able to contain it.

the reason africans sold slaves to europeans was to acquire guns so they could defeat the europeans and stop them kidnapping people. europeans would only trade guns for people.
