What difference does a weapon make? Hands are weapons. Elbows are weapons. So is the ink pen I am holding.

Just because person #1 (usually white) says something or does something that person #2 (usually black) doesn't like, it does not give person #2 the right to violently assault person #1.

Verbal insults or being asked questions (like why are you in this neighborhood) is not in the same league as physical violence and I don't know how people can compare the two.

OK I get it, you don't like to be on the receiving end of racial descrimination (perceived or real) BUT THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ATTACK SOMEBODY LIKE A THUG. If you are unarmed and don't want to be shot, THEN DON'T ATTACK ANYBODY. Michael Brown are you listening?

 

Each crime should be judged on its merits.. otherwise you are looking at collective punishment.

Ask the Martin defenders they are the ones who kept bringing it up. Could it be used as a weapon, yes it could.

I guess thats because they have told such things as this and (like me) think its absurd.

 

1) It is concrete proof that the media consistently distorted facts regarding the case.

2) When put into the context of other evidence (text messages from friends about making "lean"), it paints an entirely different picture of Trayvon Martin than the one the media tried to present to the public.
