He waived his right to a SYG hearing. The theory was that it would have tipped of the prosecution as to defense strategy. But I think there was also another reason. George is clearly not a bright guy. Having a SYG hearing and losing would open him up to cross examination by the prosecution twice. That gives him twice the chance of screwing up. In Mr. Earp's case it would be almost guaranteed that he would hurt his case via his testimony.
He'll make a nice cuddly teddy bear for some good ol' boy once he gets locked away in the penitentiary. I heard those boys like a little cushion for the pushin'.
Guess who's been losing weight since the trial - Trayvon martin; Heck I think he's all skin and bones now. hahahahaha Oh, Trayvon says "hi" and "thug life, yo!!!": Robbing houses in Heaven.... or is Trayvon robbing houses in Hell now??
Oh my... I thought that had all been settled months ago. The Defense doesn't want George to testify .. EVER.. The Prosecution will make hash out of him. GZ should have hired a lawyer immediately, shut up and thrown himself on the mercy of the court. His websites, soliciting funds and seeking the limelight has not helped him.. neither has his family. George would probably have done better with a public defender.
Yup, Trayvon is worm food. And Zimmy is soon to be a different kind of food for the brothers down at the state penn. Betcha he's wishing he had listened to that 911 operator a bit more huh?
Guess not. I really do not follow this all that closely. I only know what I hear on the news. But that was the scoop. It's bad for Mr. Earp because he'll have to. There is no way out. His attorney knows that. His attorney also knows George is an idiot with next to no chance of surviving two crosses.
Not likely. If he is convicted it will be protective custody. Without a gun he's just a wimpy tub of goo. And the case is too high profile for him to get tossed in with folks who clearly will not like him. But I think he may be safer in jail than on the outside. Stand your ground works both ways....
So you think hes been in jail for all these months? He hasn't been killed yet, but hopefully it happens soon for you guys! Casey Anthony has been dead for how long now?
Oh well... He is a democrat. If he was a republican living in Texas, he probably would be fine. They still execute criminals over in Texas and the stand your ground laws there are much stronger. I wonder if Zimmy will still continue to vote democrat after this? hahahhahaha..... I am happy that Zimmy protected himself..... BUT....Oh well, Zimmy if you get assraped in prison, its partial your fault. Don't vote democrat.
I agree that George's lawyers believe he's an idiot.... I knew he was an idiot the first time he solicited funds after the shooting... and the fact that he moved out of his rental the night of the shooting.. long before the shooting was news. George wanted to "be somebody"... and this killing was his ticket.
Hey, if he can stay in hiding forever good for him. I surely don't care. He'll need money from somewhere, but I'm sure you will pitch in whatever you can.
But Travyon has been dead.... But on the other hand, for all the Zimmy haters, Zimmy could be next if he doesn't stop eating the doughnuts hahhahahahaha
LOLOL.. No he's not going to get a ton of cash from NBC.. Have you bothered to read their answer. And if NBC does give him a nuisance settlement.. the Martins will get all that money. There is NO profit in killing. In Florida he won't even have commissary or TV or telephone privileges.
It could be an OJ thing where Earp is found not guilty in the criminal trial, then found liable in the civil trial. Then, of course, money he gets from anyone, be it a job, RosePop, or NBC goes right to the Martins.
this would apply to ummm let's say FatBoy Teddy Kennedy ? weight gained after cowardly leaving a young woman to drown so he could save his career??
All the time. Texas is a horrible place. As a reminder to all you liberals, do not move there. Terrible, terrible place...
I am not a fan of Zimmerman. Whatever happened that night, I am of the opinion that but for his actions, Trayvon Martin would be alive. Zimmerman strikes me as a bit of a lost soul in life. A loser, if I may be so judgmental. That being said, of all the things surrounding this case, his weight strikes me as one of the least relevant or important.
