Some people do get second chances. George Zimmerman won't be one of them. Elliot Spitzer may well be one, though. As arrogant and self centered as he is, he is also smart. George Zimmerman was never smart. He wouldnt' have got himself in this situation had he been. Spitzer was about to go after the big banks on Wall Street in early 2008, when his downfall occurred. I have always suspected that the exposure of his intimacy with call girls has more to do with Wall Street than with with moral turpitude.
George can take the millions he gets from lawsuits and leave the US. There are many other countries who could care less about what happens here. Everytime I travel I realize how jacked up the society is here.

George Zimmerman has practically no chance of winning any lawsuits. The bar for proving damages and/or libel for a public figure is very very high. Since he can't prove damages, he's pretty much out of the running right away. I don't doubt that some K Street firm will take it on though. It will generate lots of attention, particularly in the right wing noise bubble. And they'll use it to raise money off of "crazy a$$ed crackers" everywhere! They'll get guys like some of you to whip out your credit cards and pledge millions, most of which will be pocketed by the publicists. Then they'll sell your contact information to various other right wing groups, who will, in turn, flood your in box with more outrage and opportunties to pay. And they'll let right trash blogs like WND, NoiseMax, and Free Republic have a taste in order to drive their viewers their way. That's the pattern that TeaParty.net, Crossroads GPS, BlackAmerica'sPAC (which used Allen West's name to raise money without his permission), and the fake Iraq war veteren's scam that Sham Hammity and Ollie North ran; Freedom Alliance. This sort of thing is now so common in the right wing bubble, that people are having trouble keeping up with it. The Zimmerman trial is a ripe opportunity for these con men. And I have no doubt that there will a stampede to pick up the sucker money.

The grey lines of difference between you and the person you think GZ is are fading with every post you make. GZ had a suspicious nature because of criminals plaguing his neighborhood and TM got caught up it the situation.

Spitzer tried to get away with something so many people get away with. Zimmerman made a choice to end a beating, and never tried to hide it. Zimmerman may have saved his life.... Spitzer ruined his. I think George exaggerates the danger to himself.. but that increases his sense of self importance. What I have never understood is why he never went home again.. I give Zimmerman 1-2 years tops life remaining. IF he gets out of America now, he may have 5 years. but looking at how much weight he gained during the trial,,,his heart will stop from a greasy burrito before then.
Ahhhh, I see. So Emmanuel Burgess was the only criminal in Sanford.....and he was the only person involved in all of the break ins? Once EB was arrested, GZ's community became a regular Mayberry RFD? Are you aware that EB was another "black man" that GZ had spotted acting suspicious on Feb. 2nd 2012, but by the time the police arrived, EB had disappeared? Are you also aware that EB was seen on Feb 6th, 2012, by two roofers, "lingering" in a yard of a house that was later broken into and nobody called the police at that time. Are you aware that the items that were taken from that house were linked to EB....the guy no one called to police about when he was "lingering"? Are you also aware that one house was the only house that had been burglarized in GZ's neighborhood that was linked to EB?
