George Zimmerman told police that he got out of the car in order to ascertain the name of the street he was on. And odd claim,considering he was the Neighborhood Watch captain of a three street subdivision he had lived in for over two years. Later when police had him reenact the events, he rattled off the street name without prompting. He was lucky in that sense, because his decision to get out of the car was not a violation of the law, and thus was not a relevant factor in the jury's deliberation. However, that one move set the chain of events in motion that caused the death of Treyvon Martin. That is a reflection of your own bigotry, and not the facts at hand on the night of the event. George Zimmerman know nothing about Trayvon Martin that night. Treyvon Martin could have been the reincarnation of Idi Amin for all he knew, or a saint. Martin's character was not an issue in the trial for that very reason. What Zimmerman would have done of Martin had been white is empty speculation, as well. The fact is that Zimmerman did not do as he was trained, or as he was reminded by the police. NBC has little to fear. Zimmerman must prove malicious intent, that the stories were false, and that he suffered material damages as a public figure. There is no case there, even if NBC was wrong to edit video and voice the way they did. Zimmerman may wind up in Peru, but NBC won't be paying the tab. Thanks for responding though. In the past, my comments regarding Neighborhood Watch and Zimmerman's flagrant and irresponsible violations of its basic guidelines were based on my own direct experience as a Neighborhood Watch volunteer. Your challenge gave me the motivation to research the training that Zimmerman recieved, and the warnings he was given. And, as I never really doubted, they were exactly the same guidlines and training I received and which Zimmerman so flagrantly and irresponsibly disregarded.

Yes really. The laws exist to protect the guilty. You just have to be able to afford their price tag. Then, you can have whatever verdict you want to purchase, and the high paid lawyers will find the law to get you off. Then, they'll "practice" the law in YOUR FAVOR. Gimme a break man. Cash rules all, as always. Write a big enough check and that "blind justice" becomes whatever you want it to be, and the blindness becomes sharply focused vision.

I don't acknowledge it, because I don't think it is true in most cases, and I certainly don't think it is true in this case. If anything, it appeared to me that the prosecution team and the judge were more likely bribed or threatened to prosecute than the likelihood that the any jurors were bought off.

I was watching an old old episode (could tell by the cop cars) of 'Cops' last night. A 'young Black man' was in a high speed pursuit in a stolen car. Yawwwwwwn. So what else is new. The cops finally spun the car out and dragged the punk out through the window. There sitting in the front seat was..............wait for it!!!!!!!!!!! An effing bag of Skittles!!!!!!!!!! Didn't you get the memo?...he is going to sue NBC for defamation of character. There are also others he could sue but NBC is the big one where millions are at stake.
Clearly, justice isn't "blind". I can't make you see what you either don't want to see, or you simply choose to believe, or what you would like to believe. The standard of law is applied differently, according to color, and/or your "class" (or financial status). I've experienced it, I've seen it repeatedly, and I firmly believe it. This whole Zimmerman case is a prime example of that injustice in the eyes of many people, including myself. Your experiences may vary, but that doesn't change the facts.
I am saddened that people would celebrate the Kids death or be happy Zimmerman's life is ruined , does anyone feel that both families are hurt ?
