In hindsight, this lady should've just shot the person dead and pulled the SYG law stunt like Zimmerman did. both cases are in Florida btw.

Oh, Zimmerman didn't walk. He wasn't immediately arrested because he fell into the new law. At least it looked that way to police.

 

and ummmmm this case is not the same. the woman didnt take proper precaution as her warning shot went into a room where a child was standing. she almost killed a (*)(*)(*)(*)ed kid.

but i think 20 years way too much. pedophiles only get 5 years then released to molest other children.

oh and another thing later on in the article states that after the woman was let out on bail after the shooting she went back to the guy and assaulted him, in which the judge told her upon release she is to stay away from the man. so add assault to her list of screw ups.

she was also offered 3 years, but declined the offer.

and to be honest i know of a good amount of teenagers that could give a grown man a run for his money. and in the case of Treyvon and Z, its easy for Treyvon to have the edge considering he was a 6'2'' athelete facing someone much smaller than him.

 

The article in the OP is completely different than the Zimmerman/Martin case and smacks of race-baiting. She is using her skin color as a defense because she has no valid reason for firing that gun.

 

Same token, what if Zimmerman, in the middle of a fistfight with Trayvon, shot his gun off and hit somebody in the adjacent apartment, then what?

These situations are EXACTLY alike. Two people apparently in danger for their lives, shot first and asked questions later.

Two people who shot their guns off in the name of SYG. only difference is one defendant is white and the other is Black.

Just like the woman was wrong for shooting when she did, Zimmerman was equally wrong for shooting when he did.

 

did Zimmerman have a valid reason for firing his gun? I think not.

He failed to follow procedure and use a vigilante-style tactic to stop, harrass and ultimately kill Tryavon Martin dead.

AND Trayvon has been to that neighborhood many times before so Zimmerman knew exactly who Trayvon was.

these cases are nothing alike. Zimmerman shot to kill, the woman shot a warning shot that almost killed an innocent child. if you shoot a weapon you shoot to kill, you dont fire warning shots for that particular reason.

Well we haven't heard anything from the police. But there is pictures of Zimmerman going into the police station with three cuts on the back of his head. His doctor said he had two black eyes and a broken nose too. I haven't heard anyone denying that.

hell i know a 5'10'' 17 year old from Romania who could beat a grown mans ass, he was a amateur boxer and he punches very fast with about 800lbs. of pressure in his punches and the kid only weighs 160lbs. lol.
