Getting into a fist fight with someone when you're armed is about as stupid as it gets.The whole point of a carry permit is not having to worry about such an incident. As everyone knows, a fist fight can turn into death in about 10 seconds or less, because that's how long it takes for your head to hit the ground and for someone to pound your face a few times when you're unconscious. Or, the person takes your gun and shoots you with it. That's why bringing a knife to a gun fight isn't too smart. Some reason. If you have the advantage, you use it as a deterrent and hopefully that's enough. Smart people stand down. When you carry, you hope never having to use it.

And if this had been another break in where someone had died because Z left the person alone, does that mean the neighborhood watch captain would not bear any responsibility? It took 10 mins for cops to show up AFTER Z called. When seconds count, the police are minutes away.

You admit he exited his truck and followed Trayvon so that alone is admission of guilty of something, what comes next..He heads Trayvon off(from the photo)...Trayvon went one way and Zimbo went another to try and cut him off. that's when the confrontation happend.

And by all accounts, since Zimbo has seen Trayvon in the retreat before, He knew who he was and wanted to teach him a lesson, since he felt Trayvon was the one breaking in cars in the area.
