By your logic, a woman can sue for slander if a protestor called her the B word, which is shaming and ridiculing?

Are you really this ignorant? They are not literally accusing a woman of doing something illegal. Take things into context.

I couldnt care what pro lifers think either, I am not saying "somebody thinks this", is a legal justifcation for something. Take things into context. The fact that you can't take things (my arguement) into context is a clear indicator of your intelligence level.

Pro lifers are not accusing a woman of committing a crime. If you argue otherwise, you are looking for legal loopholes/semantics to justify your opinion. Pro lifers understand that abortion is not a crime. They only say abortion is "murder" from a moral POV. The fact that you said "i couldn't give a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) what pro lifers think" is not only taking my arguements totally out of context-it's pure evasion.

Please show me ONE example of a woman being put on trial, because of something a pro lifer said. If you say "irrelevant" thats another example of you evading my arugements. To be more specific, show me at least one example of how a pro lifer calling a woman a "murderer" actually leads to people believing the woman did something illegal and her being put on trial.

As I said a willfully misrepresenting, and cherry picking to suit your own delusions.

You can keep repeating the lie as often as you like, the only person who is blind to the reality is you.

BTW: Do it once more and I will report you for blatantly misrepresenting and lying about my comments.

By B word do you mean (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), if so then no as they are not accusing her of committing a crime, is being a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) a crime?

Murder is a crime. Calling someone a murderer is accusing them of a crime.

The fact that you can't understand Fugazi's facts has NOTHING to do with Fugazi's intelligence level which has proven over a long time to be extremely high ....and only someone who was losing the argument would imply it was anything else...

Care to go back to the topic?......which you obviously can't comprehend but give it a real grown-up try anyway...

no they are not. Pro lifers understand that abortion is legal and they understand that most people are smart enough to know that abortion is legal.

Pure BS, what you cannot comprehend is that what the pro-lifer really thinks is 100% irrelevant, it is what they say and how it can be perceived by others that matters .. Stop looking at it from the perspective of the pro-lifer and try to look at it from the perspective of the woman and/or a member of the public, you are failing to do so.

Again you are falling into a logical fallacy, just because something has not happen does not mean it cannot happen .. you seem to be under the illusion that if it hasn't happened it can't happen and therefore can't be correct.

I am looking it at the perspective of a public member too. Most people in the public know that abortion is legal, and that a woman cannot legally get in trouble if she had an abortion. Even if a person witnessing pro life protests spread the word to all of his friends that "susie had an abortion and pro lifers insulted her by calling her a murderer", it would not result in her getting in legal trouble. Nobody is stupid enough to believe abortion is an illegal act. Everybody, even pro lifers, know that abortion (from a legal perspective only) is not considered to be murder. They also consider it to be murder from their personal moral POV.

You are begging the question. If you have no evidence to suggest that it can possibly happen, then your arguement is invalid.

You are also misrepresneting my position dishonestly. I never said something can't happen, because it never happened before.

    - - - Updated - - -

Pro lifers only say abortion is murder because they believe it's morally wrong. They are not LITERALLY ACCUSING A WOMAN OF COMMITTING A CRIME. The same word can have MORE THAN ONE MEANING!!!

Check out the thread on men having a say in abortion.....there's an Anti-Choicer who insists over and over again that abortion is murder and nothing else....they say it's KILLING a child, that is murder...

Let me try to explain this to you -

If I call you in public a little snotty nosed brat with the intelligence of a pig, then that is not slander because none of those things are illegal . HOWEVER

If I call you, in public, a little snotty nosed brat with the intelligence of a pig who likes to rape children and then murder them, then that is slander because I am accusing you of committing a crime REGARDLESS of whether I believe it to be true or not, and the only way I can vindicate myself for saying such things is to produce proof of the items I am accusing you of.

It is irrelevant whether abortion is legal, the fact remains that pro-lifers are accusing another person of committing an illegal act ie murder

BTW : None of the above is me actually accusing you of being any of the things listed.

and you cannot comprehend that it is irrelevant if the person saying it means it literally or not, it is whether the person they are saying to takes it literally or not or if a person hearing it takes it literally or not.

You are assuming that a person hearing it would not take it literally, that is an assumption you cannot make because you have absolutely no idea how that person is thinking.

The literal definition of murder means taking life illegally, or something along those lines.

A woman is smart enough to realize that abortion is a legal right, not an illegal action.

And yet again we have a post that demonstrates you inability to actually see the point.

    Appeal to Belief

You are accusing someone of committing an illegal act, in this case murder .. it could be an accusation that has nothing to do with abortion at all, it is the fact you are accusing them that is the slander. Accusing them of an illegal act that you have absolutely no proof they have committed. An accusation of an illegal act MUST have a basis in fact otherwise it is slander.

It makes no difference what you personal opinion is, it makes no difference that they are entering a place where you consider "murders" to be taking place. You CANNOT accuse someone of a crime without proof for that accusation.

and you are accusing someone of committing that act, therefore you are accusing them of breaking the law, whether they know they have committed the crime or not is irrelevant to you accusing them of it, it is up to the pro-lifers to provide the proof of the claim. You have to have a base in order to make the accusation and pro-lifers have absolutely no proof to validate the accusation.

Guilt by association is not a valid basis for the accusation. You are in fact assuming guilt which makes a mockery of innocent until proven guilty.

If you cannot see that then you are beyond anything I or others can say.

FFS .. they are not accusing the woman of having an abortion, they are accusing her of being a murderer.

This is like talking to a brick wall.

What part of whether the pro-lifers mean it literally or not means jack (*)(*)(*)(*) do you not comprehend.

It really does not matter if they mean it literally or not, it is how the person or the public perceive it, and for the god knows haw many times, you cannot accuse someone of committing an illegal act without evidence to support the accusation.

You are taking pro lifers statements out of context. You and Fugazi are just looking for legal loopholes, so that women who have their "poor little feelinsg" offended by "politically incorrect pro lifers" can sue them.

Pro lifers have no evidence that a woman having an abortion is doing something illegal. That's because they do not believe what a woman doing is illegal. nor are they saying that a woman is doing something illegal. u are taking their statements TOTALLY OUT OF CONTEXT.:roll::roll::roll:
