If evolution is true, then obviously "Jesus" is not real.

You seem to be the one with the reading comprehension. The rock layers are dated by evolutionists as 10's of millions of years old.

Most likely story is that it was a 4 day flood on the Euphrates river and the "Ark" was a couple of barges tied together that were hauling grain, live stock and beer down river.

Bill Nye? You must be kidding. The guy is a comedian, actor and mechanical engineer. Not exactly a scientist.

I have stated clearly the Earth is about 6,000 years old. You correct your fairty tale if you want.

Sure....there was likely a REAL lumberjack named Paul Bunyan who lived in Minnesota in the early 1800s, too. He may have even been 6'2" or 6'4" in height.

Yet, we'd laugh at anybody who claimed Paul was 100 feet tall and gave us "scientific proof" that he "dug out the Grand Canyon by dragging his axe on the ground".....or said "You have YET to give me any scientific evidence that a 150 foot high, 60,000 ton blue oxen couldn't exist!!!"

    :)

BTW, as fun as arguing with those who believe the Universe is only 10,000 years old.....we've had some big fun with the believers in the "world-wide Flood of Noah"....not just their lack of evidence for such an event, or explaining how animals from South America or Australia "got home" after the Flood....

but the fun of them trying to explain how 2000 species were fed and watered and their stalls mucked by 6 people who'd never get the chance to sleep or eat themselves, and would do the work of 50 people every day for months and not collapse from exhaustion.

If the earth is only 6,000 years old, when did the dinosaurs live?

So why have you stated that the Universe is 10,000 years old then....according to Genesis, "the stars" were made AFTER the Earth.

They drowned in the Flood, Margot......Gosh. Everybody knows that. Noah had a hard enough time shovelling 600 lbs (300 each) of elephant poop EVERY DAY....think he could shovel 800-1000 lbs of Apatosaurus poop too?

Since the Earth is about 6,000 years old it's still the oldest thing in the universe. Grass and fruit trees are the oldest life forms. The Sun, moon, and all of the stars in the universe are about 4,000 years old.

    Sounds legit.

Trying to find fault with Creation and the Genesis Flood is not evidence in support of Big Bang or evolution. What about something that is valid science, not speculation, opinion, conjecture assumptions in support for the "fact" of your position.

So far all your attempts to shoot down Genesis accounts have failed with the same old cliches, half-truths and misconceptions. It would be in your best interest to at least read Genesis to know what you are talking about.

It's one thing to have a discussion with people who have reasonable opinions about issues. It's entirely something else to engage insane people in any kind of discussions about anything. The bottom line is that people who believe in fairy tales are bat guano crazy and it's a waste of time and one's own sanity to even acknowledge their existence. The unfortunate thing is that some people sincerely believe in the fairy tales so it's useless trying to be reasonable and to explain reality to them. It doesn't matter if they are flat earthers, creationists, or assorted religious fanatics. They are simply and completely insane.

No, I'm saying that there are 9 million species today, and I'm asserting that there weren't 9 million species on the ark.

So, regardless of the guesses that young earth creationists make about the ark, there is a serious math problem they have not solved.

I quoted one prominent believer in creationism and the story of Noah as saying there were probably around 20,000 "kinds" on the ark. And, I pointed out the huge problem that results - where did the other 8,980,000 species come from?

You can pick your numbers and do your math. Do you think there were 200,000 "kinds" on the ark? That would mean there are still 8,800,000 species that came from somewhere.

Do you think there were 2,000,000 "kinds" on the ark? That's still not even 1/3 of the species we see today. Where did they come from?

    Pick your numbers.

    Show me the math.

    Do the explaining.

How does it feel knowing that the vast, vast, vast majority of scientists disagree with you from every scientific field?

Once again. proof = evidence or argument that compels the mind to accept an assertion as true. Where is your proof to support the assertion?

How do YOU think a new genetic trait came about?

Again, all you have is insults. Where did you learn THAT? Did that come from your religion?

That is 1/10th the number of "kinds" that the Creation Museum guy (Ken Ham) uses. He says there were 20,000, and I used his number.

You, however, create and even larger problem for yourself.

You say there were only 2,000 "kinds" on the ark, so let me help you with the math:

That leaves 8,998,000 more species today than were on the ark.

    Where did they come from?
