What petty BS by the students. And with some women's propensity to accuse men for this and that I'd be afraid to be alone with a woman I don't know.

 

Perhaps Pence has some skeletons deep in his closet. Let us hope he has been properly scrutinized and is not another failure by Trumpeters to scrutinize the past of their appointees.

Let 'em walk. A better tact would be, in light of their "I'm With Her" shirts that are moldering in the closet would be to sit down and consider "Why did this guy beat us?" But they saved themselves that by convincing themselves that they were robbed by the Russians and, this is the crazy part, and really, won!

So, no need to listen, reexamine nor reconsider their assumptions about how the real world operates. No, by rejecting the results, they can assure themselves that their mass delusion has real world power to achieve actual results.

The discrimination I'm referring to is due to the inability to conduct business meetings without being tarnished with the accusation or label of adultery.

I totally see your point. But, when accusations are raised, in a two person dinner like that, say the girl reports to the guy who she claims made unwanted advances? Then if she gets a restraining order, the guy is going to get fired if he cannot be transferred. I personally will have a business dinner with a female colleague, but I also completely understand why many of my male colleagues will not.

My guess is that if President Obama or Vice President Biden were to speak at Notre Dame's commencement, the conservatives in the graduating class would sit respectfully and listen to the speech, even if they disagreed with the administration's politics.

 

Maybe Pence was obliquely letting us know he only has sex with ladies he is related to.

No, he's not making excuses. As a woman perhaps you have never been accused esp falsely accused of unwanted advances. The fact men see this all the time has made some leary. The more you have to lose and the deeper your pockets the more at risk you are. You aren't at risk so you may want to cut some slack to those who are. Not everyone is truthful and beyond reproach as you seem to be and think.

 

The oh so tolerant left. I look through these posts and see nothing but venomous name calling and making excuses for disrespect. There are those on the left that conservatives despise just as much as you hate Trump, but they would at least show respect at public events. The way I see it, there is no meeting half way with the left. It's their way or the highway and the right is finding out there is no compromise. The divide will only get bigger until violence settles things.

I'm not punishing anyone. I was defending Pence. If someone wants to meet with me then there is a third or more present. It's one on one that possibly could be a problem and many men are leary of that. Meeting some female for business purposes with a third present mitigates that and shouldn't be a problem for anyone. If the business is sensitive then record it date/time stamped. Don't blame men but unsavory women who take advantage of the situation. Of course any men who are pigs and are preying on women by deed or pressure deserve what they get. I hate a sexist pig.
