    Very true.

He had no political future, so why not throw in with Trump?

Election night surprised him as much as anybody.

Right. One of the brightest lights out there = why he was tapped for VP.

"No future" are the snowflake walkouts at ND....

His views on the role of government mesh with the Founding Fathers, especially Jefferson.

Pence has a heckuva lot more personal honor than Hilla, Kaine, OR Trump. Granted, that's setting the bar kinda low, but whatever.

Well, kind of ironic considering how many posts you made swearing Trump had zero chance a'tall. Heck, didn't you even promise you'd leave if Trump won?

    No they don't.

Jefferson wrote the principles on which this nation was founded as per the DOI. Individual rights and freedoms are put "above" the legitimate authority of Gov't. The founders wanted to "Limit Gov't Power".

What then is this power limited to ? - with respect to individual liberty ?

Pence either does not understand or dislikes this principle. Pence wants to force his personal/religious beliefs on others through physical violence (Law). He has no respect for the principles on which this nation was founded.

If Obama had given such an address and students walked out, the left would waste no time labeling them racist bigots.
What a difference skin color and party affiliation makes, eh?

Actually I do not have a problem with the Notre Dame students who walked out. They did not interrupt The VP, they walked out before the ceremony convened, nor did they cause any property damage or physical violence. Berkeley should take note as well as Bethune-Cookman University. The Notre dame students exercised their freedom of expression without attacking the First Amendment rights of others. Even more interesting was the reaction was the majority of the students who booed the ones walking out exercising their own first amendment rights. Although I feel they should not have been booed. Long live peaceful protests, keyword there being peaceful

Maybe republicans should stop voting for, supporting, and electing such scumbags like Trump and Pence that only cater to white christian males

They were rude yes. Here is the rub.. "you " cannot accuse them of trying to deny Pense the right of speaking his opinion and then say that these "students" do not have the right to express their opinion by walking out. They have every right to be wrong and or stupid as Pence has every fight to be wrong, or fight.

Ps there are reports that these guys may have been alumni, for the most part.

Who cares if they were disrespectful? Pence has disrespected a great deal of people with his policies, he is not owed anything. If the people who stayed were offended then they're the ones who need to grow up.

Well according to leaks Trump is planning a 14% cut to financial aid and student loans. If this is really true these students have a very good reason to protest.
