These polls are meaningless.
If you wanted to see a true picture you’d need to design a poll that mimics electoral college - poll each state separate with similar sample size and then calculate the odds of reelection. Libs are too fixated on general polls and tend to have a weak understanding of what a federation is.

 

However you need to rationalize your bias, you will. The reality is that the majority of reputable polls are quite accurate. If they were not, they would not be retained by political parties, candidates, and news services.

As you correctly note, the focus on the popular vote in presidential elections can miss the electoral college reality. It is a far easier and cheaper metric for polling organizations, but does not measure what is determinative. Separate state polls are essential.
