What does the global repugnance for Trump mean for international relations?

Gibberish- as usual - on both fronts. I give you the actual statistics and you respond with made up rubbish - not backed up by any research or statistics. Since your "suspicions" are so consistently and demonstrably wrong - why would this time be any different - (aside from the fact that I gave you the stats) Perhaps if you learned from your mistakes once in awhile your suspicions would not be so consistently wrong.

Instead you talk over and ignore arguments which conflict with your "suspicions" rather than fine tuning them.

Slander would imply something false was stated. I have done no such thing. Once again your suspicions betray you. That the majority of Christianity does not accept inerrancy of scripture is a statement of fact. It is not my fault that Evangelicals accept inerrancy - just because you can not deal with reality is no reason to demonize the messenger.

"True Believers" - what a silly statement. The question is "Believers in What" ? You probably don't even know.

As noted, most Americans differ and, despite the international community reflecting the view of the American majority, it is Americans who elect a president, and your messiah's prospects are problematic:
The "I'm the victim!" Cry Baby could suddenly recover, of course, but demonizing the opposition and instilling fear via his "duct-taped women!" and "prayer rugs everywhere!" hysteria will not be enough.

I do not deny that the shell of religion remains in the mainstream churches

But true faith in God is rare

Restating your premise as If I had agreed with your premise is a pathetic strawman tactic.

Evangelical and Fundamentalist demoninations prefer man made dogma over the teachings of Jesus. How do you figure that ignoring, and/or contradicting the teachings of Jesus represents "True faith in God" ?

Who carea what other countries think. They should be emulating us not us them.
I am not a Trump supporter but he is a lot better than anything the Democrats are putting forward and he us a hell of lot better than Obama. Foreign policy should work like this. America does what is right then plays hardball with everyone else. It's not a global popularity contest..
An example Israel is the good guy the surrounding Arab countries and Hamas are the bad guys so America should support Israel and play hardball with the other countries to get them to act properly.

Obama's foreign policy? Do evil and support others who do it while smiling and shaking hands the whole time.

Ending the Obama policies of paying ransom to countries who take our citizens hostage and sending pallets full of greenbacks to our enemies have taken its toll. Don't know if it's such a bad thing.

The electoral college vote is the only thing that matters in Presidential elections. You can look it up.

Quit talking out your backside. You have no idea what Evangelicals do or don't do with respect to ignorance and contradiction of the teachings of Jesus.

Just because you are not aware how some Evangelical dogma ignores and contradicts the teachings of Jesus does not mean they do not.

Teaching "Sola Fide" is one example - although this one is held by most Protestant denominations as well.
Not Drinking alcohol = "speaking for God" = violation of the teachings of Jesus.
Gays should face the death penalty = a direct contradiction of the teachings of Jesus

and so on .. these are just a few examples.

Your simplistic black/white, "we good/ they bad!" isolationism does not comport with America's achieving its post-WWII global leadership that has worked very well for the nation, contributing to the current unpopular POTUS's predecessor being elected twice with over 51% of the popular vote (first time since Ike) and completing his two terms with 60% approval.

Trump's bloating the deficit and increasing the trade imbalance are being applauded by very few.

Are there also alienated, malcontented nativists in the US? of course.

Fortunately, they are a shrinking minority.

Demonizing ex-presidents (even those whom the crackpots hysterically brayed was a communist, Muslim Kenyan) does not serve as a diversion from our current plight.

I'll assume that you knew that even before I had pointed out that the popular vote only serves as the most inclusive opinion poll that is ever taken, and is not the applicable metric in determining electoral results.

I just highlighted the changes the current President made that makes him repugnant to some foreign countries, mainly our enemies. It's up to the reader to decide whether those changes were positive or negative.

It means that Trump must be doing something right! Have you checked out the approval ratings for people like the elitists Macron, Trudeau, May, Merckel, etc.? People think THEY are repugnant...

Do you mean the people in other countries or their swampy leaders? Because I think the people in other countries love Trump; their globalist elite "leaders",
not so much. What's more, Trump garners much more respect from world leaders that recent past presidents.

Dude the current Democratic party has gone full bore Identity politics it isn't a good look. That is not only the antithesis of Traditional politics and historical it is invariably destructive of any country in which that sort of thinking is promoted. It's going to be damn hard to keep all those identity groups most of whom have nothing in common other than hatred of white males on the same page. Especially as the antipathy one for the other increases. There are already fractures between the other groups and Jews, Gays and Muslims, and other groups that you don't even know exist. For instance there is a reason that a good chunk of ICE agents and Border patrol people have Latino surnames

You missed my point entirely. I am saying that as a first priority we must be right. Not that we are inherently right. But that we must act rightly. If we do that then we have the position of strength with which we can influence world events for the betterment of everyone.

If we do good and the rest of the world hates us for it? So be it.

Supporting Israel is good and just. Giving any kind of support to Hamas or Iranians that's evil. And when we do such things we weaken ourselves.
And the UN? Trump is right, we pretty much pay for the security of it's members so yes they owe us andvis unbecoming of they to show Trump disrespect even if they don't like him personally.
Yes the UN is indebted to us!

Americans have expressed their attitudes repeatedly, relentlessly, continually, and consistently across a broad spectrum of public opinion polls. Trump alienating America's allies is reflected in those polls of Americans as well.

    A recent example:

Abandoning leadership for isolationism is not a wise policy in the 21st century.

Do you mean that our allies aren't mad or that they still can take advantage of us.

Not talking in sound bits at all - you are projecting your flaws onto me. Unlike you - someone who makes claims and does not back them up - I made a claim and backed it up with specific examples.

Sola Fide "Salvation by Faith Alone" doctrine. It is not for nothing that the Majority of Christianity (Orthodox and Catholic - and even some Protestant denominations) disagrees with this doctrine.

The following is from Matt 7 - Jesus is summarizing his Sermon - Sermon on the Mount. One of the main ideas Jesus discusses in this sermon is how one gets through the pearly gates. If one actually reads the Sermon (rather then blubber out ingested dogma) you will find that this sermon is about works, works, and more works (good deeds and doing what is right). Not one mention about "Faith - Faith in Jesus or Faith in the Sacrifice - as being a requirement.

here then is the Summary - although I encourage you to read the entire Sermon (Matt 5-7) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+5-7&version=NIV

    Matt 7
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

It is on the basis of its "fruit" - works/deeds (lack of doing bad things) that one is thrown into the fire - not on the basis of "Faith"

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!

For those that did not get it the first time - Jesus restates - although more clearly and more forcefully. Call "Lord Lord" all you like - obviously the people Jesus is referring to have faith - this will not necessarily get you there. Obviously the "faith healers" and those who prophesy on the basis of faith (Speaking in tongues for example) .. have faith. Jesus makes no bones about what he thinks of this lot. "Away from me, you evildoers"

"only the one who does the will of my Father" Jesus has just spent an entire sermon describing what the will of the Father is. Not one word about "Faith" but a whole lot about works/deeds (doing what is right and not doing what is wrong).

I am not sure how Jesus could have been more clear ?

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

For those who did not get it the first and second time - Jesus restates a third time.

It is not the hearing of the word by which one builds a strong foundation but the "doing". It is the one who puts the teachings of Jesus into practice = WORKS.

Regardless of the role of faith - it is preposterous abject nonsense and a complete contradiction of the teachings of Jesus to claim that works are not required - following the teachings of Jesus - putting the words into practice is not required.

Next we can get into specific examples - such as the one posted previously if you like.

The paranoidal "we do good and the rest of the world hates us for it" does not reflect reality. Most of America's traditional allies share the values of most Americans as expressed in poll after poll.

As I noted, Trump's bloating the deficit and increasing the trade imbalance is not good for the nation.

Also damaging to US interests was Trump's fake hype about his getting North Korea to denuclearize, and his getting publicly pissy with his National Security Advisor whose expertise was expressed in explaining that Trump's boast did not comport with reality.

"Intelligence should go back to school!"
This is the sort of childishness and incompetence that delights the nation's enemies.
