I agree. If you read the post I was responding to however, this was not the definition given by the poster.

I have many criticisms of Blue Establishment - some much better and more powerful than yours (not to take away from your correct argument but there are stronger) . What I don't do however is make up nonsense labels which have nothing to do with reality or obfuscate reality - which is what the poster was doing.

It's because they worship government, so they assume we worship him.

Are you familiar with the idiom "out of the mouths of babes"? It means children will speak the truth and say it directly.. Trump is right in that the intelligence community needs to reassess their priorities.. and that DOES NOT include a coup attempt on a sitting duly elected American President

My name isn't Don, but it's a simple fact....under President Trump we have a President that doesn't promise to be "more flexible" after the election.

That is a very feeble rationalization of Trump's immaturity and ignorance.

The crackpot conspiracy fantasies of dysfunctional personality cults do not serve America either.

I see that Trump has 50% job approval:

    Rasmussen Reports 3/5 - 3/7 1500 LV 50 49 +1

Thanks for worrying about his approval, but I think he's doing just fine.

British Writer Pens The Best Description Of Trump I've Read

(Caricature of Donald Trump is by DonkeyHotey.)

The following was found at LA Progressive:

Someone on Quora asked “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote the following response:
A few things spring to mind.
Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.
For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.
So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.
Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever.
I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman.
But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.
Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers.
And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.
There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface.
Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront.
Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul.
And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist.
Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that.
    He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat.
He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.
And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully.
That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead.
There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down.
So the fact that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:
    • Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.
    • You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man.
This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss.
After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of ****. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum.
God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.
He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart.
In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump.
And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish:
    ‘My God… what… have… I… created?
If being a **** was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.

Trump is out of step with the one-world-government socialists?

    Good.

IF you watched something besides CNN and thought for yourself. you would know that's a huge pile of bovine excrement the left has been shoveling out for two years now because slander is all they've got.

You can watch your CNN - as your indicating that you are familiar with whatever it is that that network broadcasts suggests. I have found no reason to patronize cable television offerings.

You may be upset because you can find no public survey, foreign or domestic, that reflects your veneration of your Trump, and so lash out at your ubiquitous, nefarious "left!"

The diversion to your nemesis of days of yore does not serve as a diversion, however desperate.

In the here and now, there is a widespread consensus, both domestic and foreign, that your messiah stinks.

It is not just Trump's bloating the national deficit and increasing the trade imbalance that are damaging the US. His crapping on traditional American values is destroying the nation's reputation.

Trump's slavish lickspittles will rage that being loathed is a good thing.

    It isn't.

First, who gives a **** what foreign leaders think about trump. The loved Obama in Europe, he just paid for thier defense and let them have a 3x tariff on our autos vs theirs. Just have his back when he wants to overthrow Gaddafi Assad or mettle in Egypt.

I don't want a president who is just liked by his allies. I want a president who wants to talk with our adversaries and change their position as in North Korea. One who stands up to China and refuses to allow them to rape our economy and intellectual property.

Trump is an embarrassment on a personal level, and he is certainly not the type of guy I would want to be chummy with. I don't like his tax policies, and I don't like the way he framed the illegal immigration debate. But I don't let my personal distaste for him cloud my opinion of his policies that I do agree with.

Proof that among people who count, Likely Voters, Trump has a 50% approval to 49% disapproval. You wasted alot of screen space to say the same thing I was saying, making my post GREEN compared to yours.

Hogwash. The information is there for both sides, buried in piles of manure spread by the unscrupulous, including press, politicians and general malcontents and trouble makers. All you have to do to sort it out is recognize what smells and what doesn't- and allow yourself to seek truth rather than just support for what you want to believe.

Again, you are free to dismiss the vast consensus and cling to the sole outlier that comports with your needs. The blind faith of the cult in their messiah is unshakable.

Meanwhile, most folks assess objective reality and express an informed conclusion.

Trump's fulfilling his campaign promises was facilitated by Republicans controlling both houses of Congress for two years:

Your alienation and paranoia are necessary to maintain your faith.

Those who actually fell for the lies that Iraq had wmd stockpiles, that Obama was a communist Muslim Kenyan, that Hillary Clinton killed Vince Foster, etc. have made alienation and paranoia requisite for their aberrant dogma.

With their Trump, it began with their believing that millions of invisible dastards had all illegally voted against him, and that thousands of other invisible people celebrated his apotheosis on the Washington Mall - not to mention his thousands of other invisible people cheering for terrorism in New Jersey or his hysteria over all those invisible duct-taped women and invisible prayer rugs everywhere.

It's amusing, but it's sad, very sad.

Especially sad that you believe that crap.
    I certainly don't.

Not as sad however as watching millions of people discard their self respect in order to act like spoiled children; that think whining and acting out actually changes anything for the better. That is perhaps the biggest problem in the world today-masses of people unable to think for themselves, reacting constantly, but never thinking and acting logically. Gullible and vulnerable to the lies of self-serving politicians who in truth don't give a damn about them- they just want power over them. To say the least, nothing good will come of it, and it is threatening the future of America- and thereby the future of the world.

We are failing to raise real men and women today, in favor of whiney kids pretending to be adults.
