The "Potential" is that of a human person, a full fledged creature rather than the beginning of one. What you are doing is attempting to increase guilty feelings by disingenuously eliminating context from situation...it fails because people are not stupid. No one is "In Favor" of abortion, including the woman who undergoes the procedure, any more than someone just decides on day to get an appendectomy.
