Walmart is not in that mall. It is on a detached piece of land with its own parking area and the actual building over 100 yards away from Dillards which is on the perimeter of the mall

The posters in that pro-gun Texan forum stated that they will conceal carry into the walmarts that they use and will only leave if orally challenged by staff. Why would the El Paso walmart be treated any differently by these pro-gunners?

 

Never heard of the Mall Ninja, but there are several posters on this forum who think that they would have stepped up to the hero status whenever a mass shooter shows up, if only these "heroes" were allowed to carry

Ok: Just because you saw it on a forum unsupported by actual evidence doesn't mean you should a) take it as the God's honest truth b) think that every single thing you see on every single forum is therefore false.

The context was 06 and 07 notices in Walmarts in Texas and many pro-gunners (not just one) saying that they ignore those notices . Why would they lie?

Face it, many gun carriers ignore "gun free zone" notices and conceal carry their guns into those gun-free zones. And they run away just like everyone else when a mass shooter turns up

I've got nothing other than pointing out that page 13 on a random forum without anything else to recommend it (like photographs of the walmart in question sans signs) isn't much of a source and saying "well these random people on the internet say they regularly commit a felony or class a misdemeanor" doesn't make them trustworthy or verified in any fashion, any more than the mall ninja's tale means he's really saving mayor's son's anal virginity from the depredations of the russian mob that preys upon his mall.

- in the last 60 years, no law has been passed that has "grabbed" guns purchased legally by law abiding citizens. Period. If you can cite one, then produce it for the reading audience. Otherwise, stop parroting lies.

- rattling off the various intricacies about various weapons DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACTS pertaining to what was listed in the 1994 AWB, which went into detail as to what was being banned.

- stating that lawyers look for loopholes is a moot point....that such exercised loopholes occasionally cheat the spirit and intent of a law is also a moot point. The end result is the number of "loophole" assault rifles from the 1994 AWB list used to kill people in the last 20 years.

- that a growing number of NRA folk are leaving the reservation and agreeing with implementing better gun control laws makes your last sentence foolish blather found on conservative talking head TV and radio shows.
