The Senate may decide to make a real showcase out of this 'trial', calling every department head and politician since Hillary Clinton first announced her candidacy against Obama. That may include the uranium deal also.

That memo dealt with the Democrats spying on political opposition, but will likely fall short of any 'Constitutional Crisis'. The upcoming crisis is for the Democrats only and many of their crooked Deep State leaders.

 

He lied and then heblied about the content of the transcript. His testimony is relevent to how this scheme was concocted in the first place and who camenup with it. Any who urged someone to leak classified information could face federal charges.

 

A strictly partisan impeachment on these weak allegations will help Trump. Fox had a poll Friday showing how in the 8 swing states impeachment is overwhelmingly opposed.

 

Unless the Democrats are really very stupid. I think they'll let it quietly go away, using some excuse that will still suggest the President is guilty of a crime but that that they 'don't want to tear the country apart'. All they have is innuendo, hyperbole and ad hominems, and they know it.

 

And, if the Democrats are able to Impeach Donald Trump along party lines, what happens next?

 

Nothing will rally the American people more than the Democrats impeaching a successful President.
