If one is a political rival does that grant them immunity from investigation? A person can skate an investigation for corrupt by announcing they are running in opposition to the chief law enforcer? If I am running against the sheriff and someone gets a video of me telling someone I was the guy who just robbed the bank the sheriff can't investigate me because it would help his campaign?

 

That Biden engaged in a quid pro quo and Trump and didn't.

 

I understand that that is a major part of the narrative being spun.

The problem with that fraudulent interpretation is that it would effectively grant immunity to any and all political figures or even any high-profile criminals.

Obviously, Schiff stands to personally gain from his charade. It's also election interference.
