You think banks and landlords are bottomless pits of money. Spoken like a true communist.

CDC: Avoid large crowds. Practice social distancing.

I'm not setting foot in a store for a couple of weeks.

Well, there seemed to be a bottomless pit of money when it came to bailing out the banks during their self inflicted recession over unregulated dodgy lending practices.
Trump has been shown to be quite happy to bail out farmers to the tune of billions of dollars to mitigate his ill thought out trade war with China.
If I am a Communist then Trump is Stalin reincarnate.

I'm a landlord and depend on that income from investment as part of my retirement and you want me to eat the rent. That is a communist policy.

Yeh, eff the landlord that saved his pennies and lived like a pauper for years so he could buy a couple rental properties for some residual income. Damn landlords.

No, I want you to consider granting your tenants time to repay their arrears if they are economically inconvenienced due to circumstances out of their control such as having to self isolate or redundancy caused by the coronavirus.
Since many landlords and their tenants will be in the same situation there would be little point in you evicting them and leaving your property empty and incomeless while you wait for new tenants to magically appear.

How do I defer rent when it's my income. You think landlords are rich which as I said smacks of communism

Or you could kick your tenants out and go without any rent until you get new tenants, which was the point of Montegriffo. You either work with your current tenants to get what you can in this lean time or kick them out and get no rent until you can find new tenants. Your choice.

The left values science and experts. I and most lefties look to actual experts and not internet jockeys or Fox commentary for their facts. Your comments are indefensible.

Note that I am not a Democrat.

How should the tenants pay you rent if they have to stay home/lose their income? If their employer wanted to keep paying your tenant's salary, even if they stay home, how would the employer do this if customers stay home and don't buy products? You see, this is all a big cycle, in which you are only a small part. Of course, like everyone, you want to be made whole, no matter the implications for everyone else. I tell you what, at the end people will be made whole, including yourself --- through the government that you hate so much, i.e. redistribution of future earnings.

Can't think outside your little box, can you? Answer the question: If your tenants lose their income, how would they pay your rent?

Right but you said many of ‘the elderly’ and at risk would die within five years. Simply being “elderly” does not mean one will die within five years

Actually I am. You're the one who doesn't know how to communicate correctly. You should have said "an elderly person WITH an at risk condition" won't be alive in 5 years.

The only "PANIC" seems to be coming from the people complaining and screaming about panic. Kentucky has acted appropriately (in my opinion) by closing the Schools, Bars and Restraunts for now and stopping festivals and concerts to limit crowds....those biatching about it will likely be the ones who are ignoring reality and first to get it.
