that task force has been fine,

and the rest you are just agree with what I already said

yes, they thank Trump when he deserves it and criticizes him when he deserves it

Trump is the one making the virus a political game where he thinks everyone has to tell him what an amazing job he is doing even when he isn't

Fauci is a deep state bureaucrat who has been wrong since the start of this thing.

Red China and the WHO are responsible for 95% of the Corona virus deaths. There is no need for a scapegoat.

Yeah, I was talking to my wife about just that this morning. It was a lose-lose, and I understand why she made the call. If nothing had happened, and she closed down Mardi Gras, her political career would have been over. However, had she not closed it down and an outbreak happened, like what's actually happening, she could say "I didn't want to financially ruin the city" and I think voters will forgive that.

Contrast that with the San Francisco mayor, who shut things down very early and probably saved a lot of lives.

if it's true yes, why should he lie and deny that?

hindsight is 20\20, admitting things could have been done better is not a bad thing

Trump was right there with them, what ever they can be blamed for, Trump can be blamed for as he did the same thing

What Nawlins had was people packed in like sardines from all over the states and all over the world for Mardi Gras on Feb. 25 and most people didn't think anything of it.

On Feb. 29th Dr. Fauci was still saying Americans need not change their lifestyle:

    https://www.today.com/video/dr-fauc...s-no-need-to-change-lifestyle-yet-79684677616

Of course, BC has a trainload of tourism also, but probably no single day like Fat Tuesday.

And with BC ready on Jan. 21 and then didn't make any mistakes that is really commendable.

    I can see blaming China.

The WHO? They made some early mistakes, but if we had adopted their German-made test from the start, we would be much much better off. The CDC's decision to make their own test was simply catastrophic. There's no other word to describe it. It's cost us tens of thousands of lives. We STILL don't have enough testing going on.

    Only Trumpers believe that.

The U.S. has one of the worst pandemic management in the West. The results are appalling.

Blaming China only highlights Trump's inability to take responsibility.

one thing I worry about on opening back up, is the states that have not had many cases, they may see a large influx, was almost better to have a moderate influx while closed and then next time more are immune

course maybe states that did not see it raise as much already had it in November or December, just it was thought of as the flu - course if that is true, the shutdown was not needed country wide

ZERO Chance that the USA can even attempt to re-open the economy...

...UNTIL, There is widespread (on-demand) testing.

That would mean the capability to test hundreds of thousands of people PER DAY.

    ^And, Everybody KNOWS That.

For the virus - that's absolutely China's fault. For the economic response - that's going to fall on Trump unless he successfully finds a scapegoat - that's why Trump and his cult have zeroed in on Fauci. That's why Trump retweeted a call to fire Fauci. He's laying the groundwork and his cult has taken up the call.

Yes, Trump really is that kind of person.

Red China lied and covered up. Had they acted and been transparent when first warned by Li Wenliang 95% of those who have died and are dying would be alive today. This is from the University of Southampton in the U.K.

And Trump was still playing golf on March 8th and 9th - so Fauci admits he got it wrong, and Trump blames Fauci because
Fauci had complete control of Trump's mind. Is that what you want to claim?

Golf does not equate to large groups so what is the issue?

Fauci was implying that Trump and his admin did not listen to the "experts" however the lead expert (himself) said as of Feb 29th that this would not be an issue.

Nice strawman at the end... Oh yah.. Cult.. Cult...

Trump listened to the medical experts who were deceived by the Red Chinese and the WHO.

Trump has spent the last three years undermining trust in Federal institutions. He's undermined trust in the scientific community and the medical profession.

When the H1N1 pandemic hit in 2009, we didn't have people standing in line for toilet paper or guns. We didn't have an economic meltdown. People had more trust in the system to handle the problem and they had more trust in our leaders.

What did Trump do wrong? He destroyed trust and delighted in doing it. Now that has come around to bite us in the ass.

    I'm Canadian.

We handled the crisis here very well. Trudeau took the threat seriously from the beginning.

    And it worked.

If the pandemic became so big in the US, it was largely because Trump didn't care for weeks.

By blaming China, Trump is only exposing his naivety and inability to protect Americans.

Up to January the Economy was doing very well so how was that a lack of trust?

We did not have a shutdown during 2009 are you suggesting we should have..

What EXACTLY did Trump do to cause this since you brought it up.
