Where do you think our food comes from? Workers in farmers fields and barns and from food processing plants. Generally working in close proximity to other workers. At some point they will likely become infected. After a while, demand begins to exceed supply. There needs to be a ready work force to replace them.

You say this, and yet you of all folks would still endorse an unregulated immigration standard that will essentially always supply this country with uneducated, unvaccinated or otherwise un-skilled workers, no? So, while I would agree that we need to bring back supply chain and resource production to our nation, the expectation that doing so would improve salary is unrealistic until you control immigration or cheap H1B. Are you rethinking this now?

 

Actually, the solution to that has always been with those who hire them, and placing the burden and motivation on the employers, to do the right thing for the country.

But I think alot of people are rethinking alot of things right now too.

An employer has to be able to validate the citizenship of their employees. Which, frankly, is why so many americans have their identities stolen. If you show up with a stolen identity, government doesn't warn the employers, they are passed along because democrats have ensured there are no procedures in place to actually check if those ID are actually real. But sure.....

I think many folks are now going to have to ask much more of those who travel internationally, and expect that those who travel to this country can be shown to demonstrate that they've at least had all of their shots prior to getting in..... I mean, measles were a thing of the past until illegals brought it back in with them.
