    Here are our protocols:

Anything from outside the home (including mail and all food) goes to a studio about 300 feet from our house, and stays there for a minimum of 48 hours, though usually 72. We have a small kitchen out there, so it's safe for food. Everything is dumped there while masked and gloved. Windows and doors left wide open for that 72 hours (they're all screened against pests). THEN we decontaminate every item in situ before it comes into the main house. The studio is also very sunny and has excellent cross ventilation, so that helps too. We do all this so that our main house can remain 'dirty' and we're not constantly disinfecting ourselves and surfaces.

That's exactly what has to be done.

    Imagine that.
MILLIONS of people are out EVERY day shopping and carrying on. LINES backed up the aisles at Walmart......yet in sane places run by sane people, the virus is in retreat.

Amazon, UPS, FedEX and Post office personnel delivering millions of packages per day.

    How could that be?
(Because more people than has been acknowledged have already been exposed and will not ever show symptoms.)

    Actually there is more :p

We don't go out to shop. We haven't been into a store/gas/station/public place etc since the beginning of March. We brought in non-perishables at the end of Feb and grow our own food, so no need. There are five of us here, and we're very active socially via zoom and neighbours etc, so no one is 'lonely'. No one is bored because we're all working, plus farming. We have ample space on our property, plus we adjoin hundreds of square miles of forest wilderness. We can go hiking, biking, fishing, camping etc whenever we like and never encounter others. We're off grid for power and water too, so the world could end and we'd be okay for a while. We even have a good stock of pharmaceuticals, if it came to that. It's easy to maintain protocols under these conditions of course .. but it didn't come about by accident. We've deliberately built this life over many years, at great effort and sacrifice.

Or maybe Democrats are just so degenerate that they'd knowingly nominate a senile gangster who fondles women and children in plain view of others.

Biden is senile. He can barely string two sentences together. Trump is going to destroy him.

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union, which has 1.3 million members working in stores and other retail locations across North America, has had 72 deaths attributed to COVID. That's about 0.005% of their membership. And these are people at the highest risk of exposure to the virus, since they come into regular contact with hundreds of people every work day.

But no amount of evidence will ever change the minds of the doomsday cult. They're committed to their religion of fear and control. Nothing will change their minds now.

"Has bee overblown. 2 million dead, hospitals over run, bodies in the street, supply chain crashes etc etc etrc….the death count world wide is 10% of what people were saying the death count in the US alone would be. Overblown." those are silly words. Who ever said such a thing?

Despite Trump's clumsy attempts to politicize and weaponize the virus narrative for his failing campaign chances, the states are doing far better now.

Let's hope we have a vaccine in a reasonable time.

You mean Trump is senile and growing more so. He seems so unsure of himself, so looking "where am I". When hundreds start getting ill from attending his rallies, the final nails will be driven into his campaign coffin.

UN apparently predicting more dead from the economic shutdown than the virus. World Bank saying it might cause the first increase in world poverty in over 20 years.

Those of you supporting the continued shutdown need to accept this and more is the cost of it. The desire to reopen is not about bored people at home wanting to go see a movie or get a hamburger as so many of you have portrayed on here. It is about saving not only our way of life but lives as well.

These things will not effect a small minority of people like C19 is, it will effect a much wider range including kids.

The states than Trump placed the C19 responsibility on and the liberals cried about how it was a Federal responsivity? Like NY? Like CA?

The left has locked and loaded with this virus and tried to make it political, starting with Nancy Nasty Pelosi and her money games.....and ending with immoral people on here rooting against any type of prevention or medical resolution that Trump mentioned by name....

Whoever said such a thing? Have you been on these forums the last 6 weeks?

    UAL wants to make money.
IT cares not for the risk their employees or customers endure
These people are travelling because their employers require it
Their employers want to make money
Their employers care not for the risks their employees endure
    BECAUSE
    And this is important

To Trump and Republicans employees and customers are expendable. Replaceable. Interchangeable.
If they die they can be replaced.
Trump does not care if you die.
Republican lackeys don't care if you die.

    Remember that come election day.

    You are dodging.

    Trump has generally underperformed.

The Dem governors have taken the lead, have done well, and will continue doing so.

Republicans do not care if workers die.

    No I’m not.

No they did not. Cuomo whined and blocked Trumps attempts to limited movement out of NY therefore spreading the virus, over requested on ventilators thereby shorting other states that needed them (thankfully Trump prevented that by saying no to NY) , is taxing out of state health care workers who came to NY to help to name just a few of Cuomo’s blunders. The last one is not even a blunder as it is 100% choice with no outside factors involved.

The Dem poster boy in NY did not do well.

Pelosi? Eating ice cream at home and posting it on social media. That’s leadership?

    And you nominee Joe?
    Totally absent from the scene.

Feel free to counter any of these facts as untrue.

Oh, yes, you are, fretting so much, as if you are drinking bleach and shining a UV light up the nether entry.

The fact is that the Dems have led from the beginning, Mnuchin took over for McDonnel in negotiating with Pelosi, and Trump continues to sink with the American people.

Must be why dems have the worst death rate. Cuomo finally rescinded his order to put Covid patients back in nursing homes.

The MSM has a rolodex of experts to pick from so that any point of view the MSM wants to convey will be presented by some expert.

You accusing me of dodging yet you did not respond to a single point about Cuomo. Not one. I’ll take that as acceptance of those being facts.

You post concern about workers being placed in harms way by the right. Yet Nancy and the left stay home while many of us are out here daily keeping the supply chain open so people like you and her can eat. Save you fake concern, we do not need it nor want it.

Go look at Trumps approval ratings. He’s not sinking. Please show where he is if think so.

Same crowd of “experts” that said in 2009 the ice caps would be ice free in 5 years due to global warming no doubt...Al Gore and his doom and gloom crowd. The left lives in fear...

It's obvious you are dodgy. Cuomo as done a good job. Nancy has been a spectacular partner with Mnuchin in getting relief and reform aid done.

Yep, Trump continues to sink in the ratings. Go look at RCP for the last three months. Trump is such a loser.

Clearly you just post opinionated generalizations without a single specific example.

Enough of you for me. I have a teenager at home who can bring more to a conversation.

many do not take Trump seriously, they are snubbing their nose at the Trump re-open guidelines, ironically, most of them claim to be Trump supporters

I strongly disagree. The crazy people are the ones forcing businesses to close for no reason. If you own a mattress store, you are nonessential so people can go to a crowded Costco and buy a mattress. If you own an appliance store, you face the threat of having your utilities shut off if you open your doors, meanwhile, Costco has what you need. The end result is that this sets a new boundary for our elected officials. Not enough people stood up to the abuse of power.

If it pleases the crown, may I please provide for my family and my community?
