Can you name a single nation on Earth that will protect a Walgreens with the same level of effort they do their federal buildings?

(Ignoring the events on the 6th where they opened doors for the insurrectionists)

YES!!!! The capital is the seat of power in this country, the local target is not. YES, those BLM idiots should be charged !

The idea that what BLM did is even comparable to what happened on Jan 6th is ridiculous. Im not defending BLM, but the idea that because the insurrection didn't succeed in killing politicians, or overthrowing the government, that it somehow lessens the intent is not only disingenuous to the debate, it's absurd. We can debate the level of cohesion and planning for Jan6, but their is no debate on the intent. These people broke into the US Senate chambers and threatened sitting US senators and congressmen, or do you think that they were their to discuss the planning of Arbor Day festivities on the square ?

Put it another way: The idea was a compact of States, and the federal government's whole justification for its present existence is that all of the States are in a union. So, what does this government get our tax dollars for? Are we reverting to a King George situation(the answer BTW is clearly yes.)

Not the topic. The topic is the government's failure to protect "layman citizens" but they went above and beyond for politicians. Are we equal under the law or aren't we?

It is impossible to even consider that a handful of people can overthrow our government, to do that Biden said you would need F16s and nukes, these guys weren’t even armed. What blm did last summer was pure domestic terrorism in that they used intimidation and violence to get what they wanted and they didn’t do it just one time, their terror went on for months and people were murdered. And, yes, blm shut down federal operations where they operated.

Was 1/6 a good idea? No. But at least punish people equally.

But they aren’t, many of them aren’t even being charged. In NYC prosecutors are dropping the charges against rioters and looters. And those two lawyers who firebombed a police car are getting a slap on the wrist.

You can ignore the interruptions if it makes the thought too complex:
So because you feel the left is [ignoring definitions by calling everything racist / Nazi] you and @Ddyad decide the best course of action is to emulate it?

    Strange.

Hope that is easier to comprehend for you.

Gotcha, so you agree cash bail is only a deterrent to the poor?

I’m against cash bail. If someone is a continuing threat don’t let them out, if they aren’t then you don’t need their money.

Again, Would you like me to post the definition of insurrection and have you show me which parts of the definition you do not believe fits here?

I think you may have misinterpreted my post, AmericanNationalist.

    1. I am a former police officer so I am aware there is a difference between jail and prison. (Actually, I think EVERYONE knows this).

    2. My post intended to convey that prison is very punishing to the point that ANY incarcerated person is FOREVER branded. Our society does not do "forgiveness" for formerly incarcerated people (who've paid their debt to society).

    3. You are correct in that recidivism is a huge problem and it's because of #2.

That's the thing, - feds are not interested in someone breaking into a Target, they are interested in Federal crimes, That's whey they are called "the feds".

You keep 'forgetting' to elaborate about this 'situation' you tell me I'm in. Care to share?

Sure, after you stop running from the question of which part of the definition you do not believe is applicable.

I already told you, the definition is not the issue. Your turn...
