Political scapegoating, which reinforces the double-standard legal system we have now.

Send classified emails on your bathroom server and lie about it? No jail time.
Unguided tour of the Capitol building? Hard time.

    Huh?

What does a reference to that "email" BS have to do with the OP Topic?

    Off-Topic, much?
    Whataboutism, much?:bored:

Anyway, back on topic, nobody (repeat nobody) considers less that 7 months in a Fed Lockup to be "hard time".

    So, enough of the hyperbole.:bored:

Whataboutism isn't a thing. It demonstrates the double standards we have in our society in a variety of areas, law enforcement included.

"Whataboutism" is a phrase liberals came up with when they want to brush off examples of double standards they don't like.

That is NOT treason, go read the Constitution. None of them have been charged with even insurrection or even sedition let alone treason. Your understanding is wrong as of yesterday 535 people have been arrested and charged.

Not responsive to my post. "any individuals in the Capitol on Jan 6 who actively tried to incite an insurrection..."

    1. Did anyone do that?
    2. If so identify them.

How can identify anyone charged with insurrection when no one has. Was it an insurrection. Thebleft wants to call it one and Ibhabe made the point that if it was then we have been suffering insurrections by the left for several years now.

You can't. There was no insurrection.

Next question: Was their an organized effort to incite an insurrection or to commit violent felonies in the Capitol?

    Something like this:

“The government employed at least a dozen confidential informants to infiltrate groups of armed extremists who allegedly plotted to kidnap the governor of Michigan, according to a new filing in federal court on Monday.

The filing, made by one of the five defendants in the federal case, asked that prosecutors be ordered to share more information about those informants, their relationship with the FBI, and the specific roles they played in building the case. It came among a blizzard of 15 new defense motions in the high-profile case, including requests to move it to a different district, to suppress evidence from a search warrant, and to try at least one defendant separately from the others.

Taken together, the new court papers offered a glimpse of the evolving defense strategies in the case, with several attorneys saying that they plan to argue that the FBI “induced or persuaded” the men to go along with the scheme.”
BUZZFEED, The FBI Allegedly Used At Least 12 Informants In The Michigan Kidnapping Case, Defense attorneys said they will argue that the FBI “induced or persuaded” the defendants to go along with the violent, By Jessica Garrison, Ken Benzinger, July 12, 2021.
