I'm very much against anyone using sexual favors for anything.

You asked for an example, and I provided it. I didn't know you were expecting me to go on a state by state basis and list out all their laws. Stop moving the goalpost.

And IF Roe V Wade is overturned, the law I cited immediately goes into effect.

This is a strong example, for sure.

It shows that not even the SCOTUS is a sufficient defense against those who want to control women's bodies.

The fact that it is the right wing that is so insistent on overriding the personal health care choices of US citizens is pretty disgusting, given the claims of "freedom" when it comes to stuff as simple and important as wearing a mask to slow a pandemic - where reducing the number of deaths and increasing the freedom of citizens to work and live their lives is at stake.

And, the very idea of extending that intrusion into the care of victims of rape and incest is just plain intolerable. Who the HELL do these *******s think they are???

You haven't specified the level of government.

Okay, which is subject to being overturned at any point, right?

Doesn’t matter. Why do you need me to specify which level? If you have all these things to provide then just provide them.

There doesn't NEED to be procedures which have been banned in order for the government to have the power to ban procedures in the future!

It matters, because without RvW, there is no right to abortion! Is that actually news to you?

That was the argument you made earlier. Seems you’re backtracking now.

Wrong...RvW did NOT create the right to an abortion...it protects the rights of women...the right to not have bodily autonomy taken away...

And where exactly does the right to not have bodily autonomy taken away come from?

@FoxHastings, I don't know why you 'liked' this, because you think that if Roe v Wade is overturned, women will STILL have the right to abortion. You think that Roe v Wade merely PROTECTS the right to abortion/the right to bodily autonomy, where as @ECA appears to think that it GRANTS the right to abortion.

Do you think that the right to abortion is no LESS of a right than the right to free speech?

Yes, my arguments don't EXPIRE! Again, the government can decide whether or not a particular medical procedure is allowed to remain in the health system. It can also decide that a new procedure, upon invention, is not allowed to enter the health system. Simple!

You have a conservative majority court that has turned down hearing state challenges to Roe v. Wade. John Roberts goes out of his way to keep the court out of these fights.

Why does that matter? The fact is, the government has that power!
