If that was truly her reasoning, she should have jumped off the bandwagon a long time ago. Because he has been visibly treating people this way for years. Decades even. It is just that she has now been on the receiving end of it.

And I don’t believe even that is the real reason. The real reason is that it looks like he’s losing his grip on the base. More and more people are willing to criticize him - and are getting away with it. Even on this forum the winds are changing. A lot of people are offering some criticism or saying “I always said he shouldn’t run again”.

The winds have changed. He’s lost his grip and now people are coming out against him. That isn’t strength on her part - it’s cowardice for not having said anything before.
