Oops, can you say flip-flopper? She is just another spineless conservative who exploited the Trump train for her personal benefit, and now, that the winds may have changed, she is dumping him. These people have no spine and zero credibility.

F*ck her, she's always been an opportunist and has been a Trump whore for years and remained quiet.

Another rat is jumping ship, dump Trump when he's way down and start sucking most likely Ron DeSantis's ass.

We won't know until DeSantis actually declares his candidacy for the 2024 Presidental run. And that won't happen until January 2023 or so.

These very people will flip flop again in a hot second and be so far up Trump's arse, they'll find Putin GRIP. The American people need to stay focused in the present and get Warnock elected. That way if there are any "both sides" senators, they will minimize the like of Sinema, etc..

If someone is rude to you, and doesn't listen to your side of the story, do you continue to support them? Say what you want about her, but she isn't blindly following him. The woman has a line one doesn't cross. I actually respect her reasoning.

Warnock is running for the House of Representatives. His election will have nothing to do with minimizing the likes of Manchin or Sinema.

Yet, she WAS blindly following him when he was rude to other people. But then, she liked it, since he was rude to the people on the Trump fan no-likey list. So, no, this excuse don't fly, ANYONE with a modicum of sense could have criticized his rudeness and general lack of empathy for the fellow man right from the start of 2016. But, she only recognized this now, that the wind is changing.

We'll have to see how long it takes Candy to start praising Desantis as the next coming.

I doubt DeSantis would declare a run so soon.
He's already got a big war chest and mega money donors behind him if he runs,
The need to raise huge amounts of money is why candidates declare a run so far out from the election.
I think he'll stay focused on Florida, start moving somewhat to the left and watch Trump implode and if he's going to run then maybe late summer 2023 make an announcement.
He needs time to garner some positive attention from mod democrats and independents because the US is not Florida,
He was afraid of the 6 week abortion ban and wouldn't touch it before the election.
Let's see what he does with that now.

The GOP has "two alpha males" who are just itching to go after each other. It is not who declares first, it is that both witll declare their candidancy. Trump has a solid 40% of the GOP electorate on his side no matter what. If a lot of candidates get into the fray for the nomination, DJT may win, But if there are only 4 or 5 candidates with DeSantis and Trump both running, then DeSantis has the edge but that will depend on the first primaries and caucuses. But both will run. For Trump, if he does not run, he is admitting failure and that he is a loser. And his ego won't let him do that.

It makes you wonder what sort of person would still be attracted to an obvious defective like trump.

To each their own thoughts but I disagree with yours. He is angry and resentful. I can see why she's done with him.

At what point does it stop being about personality instead of policies? Trump can be as rude as he wants to me personally, but I would still support his policies.

Trump has always been his worst enemy. Now that Trump has already lost much of his political influence, no one is going to put up with his antics, exceptions aside. Trump at this moment still wields political power, but his consistent backing of the extreme, is now passe, and his protection is just about gone.

This is what all the non Trumpers have been saying since Trump pushed himself to the forefront, and now it has been laid bare.

Probably the same type of person who would think it's okay for their guy/gal to call the electorate vicious names.

I don't see it that way.
I see DeSantis as of now not needing Trump or his still loyal Trumpers and not itching to go after him.
If DeSantis is smart he'll stay far removed from Trump, stay out of Trump's toxic madness, govern Florida and watch and wait..
Today's Trump and his 40% very well could be a different Trump a year from now and not necessarily one who even makes it to the presidential debates.
As of now all Trump has to offer is de javu-vu and he certainly isn't picking up new supporters.

Precisely why I can't support Biden. The senile liar has a lousy personality, can't be trusted, and is policy-LIGHT.

    (Qualifier in place; Hypothetical)
However, if it once again, becomes Trump vs. Biden in '24, I'll be voting for Trump.
