Conservative firebrand Candace Owens says Trump is vengeful, paranoid, and lacks humility

Dems have nothing going on right now. I see nobody who has rising star status like DeSantis. Some in that party think AOC is their savior, but they are delusional.

I'm on the thread because I agree with Candace Owens about Trump being angry and resentful.

 

I'm a people person. I try to be optimistic about them.

I couldn't agree more. Let's think about it... who is their new leading man/woman waiting in the wings? I can't think of anyone. Recycling reruns won't cut it.

She is a talking head opportunist and she sees the way the wind is blowing.
Having said that, poor “change” candidates lost. Now you can blame who you want, but a lot of blame goes to Mitch McConnel for not funding them adequately, because he himself is trying to hold onto his gavel and he was afraid they might vote for change.

The thread has more to do with principle rather than any one individual. Owens is entitled to her opinion. I don't have to agree with it. If I turned away from everyone who hurt my feelings I would have very few, if any, friends. If I could, I'd tell her to suck it up. Being insulted is something she should be use to.

 

There were a lot of people who voted for Trump because he wasn't Hillary. Some thought he'd never win but they liked her even less, so they gave him their vote. When he won, I was shocked. I did not vote for him but I couldn't stand Hillary Clinton, so I jumped on board the Trump train, hoping he would live up to his campaign promises. He did so for many of his promises, and some he couldn't manage to get done, but he did try, and for that I supported him and voted for him in 2020.

I think Candace turned against him, like me because of the way he acted after he lost. Butt Hurt. Entitled, angry, resentful. Ironically, much like Clinton did after she lost. She only spent his four years in office complaining and lying about him, pretending he was illegitimate and coming up with one excuse after another as to why she lost.

So I get it, and I totally get what Owens said. We don't need someone angry and resentful in office. These are not the qualities of a good leader. Conversely, we don't need someone whose only offense is to deflect to MAGA Trump and his extremists, semi-fascists supporters in office either.

 

I'm really baffled by AOCs appeal. Has she really accomplished anything?

 

Because he remains a power in your party and if he ever gets power in the government as well again he will use that power to STAY in power. Dictators are always the main danger to Republics, that goes back to the Romans

I don't have to wait for someone to be rude or disrespectful to me in order to see them for who and what they are. There have been numerous examples of Trump's blatant disrespect which could inform a decent human being about what kind of man he is.

So her line was him disrespecting her - but it was fine when he disrespected others?

 

He had them in a stranglehold. He’s well on his way to being completely irrelevant. We will see more and more dumping him.

She has proposed the only workable plan that will really accomplish the environmental goals we must and she "owns" conservatives magnificently. She is truly "new blood" if conservatives really want that but they really just want younger people saying the same old ****.

She's still a very junior member, they're supposed to observe and learn for some time. The Green New Deal is actually a rather comprehensive document for a new person.
Have you ever watched her grilling...er..."questioning" other congresspersons? She clearly actually USES the research staff Congress members are given.
