I am not a Republican if you are alluding to me so I wouldn't know. The way I read your point is that you should have included the Democrats in with the Republicans to give your statement street-cred. Look at the way the Democrats turned their backs on a resentful, angry Hillary after she became a butt hurt sore loser. Republicans, like Owens, I'd imagine who made friendships and alliances with Trump, are no different. After a while, you stand up for your own convictions and say enough is enough.

I'm going to need to context on the sitting president issue in order to respond.

I'm not suggesting Owens is a hypocrite. I responded to your post because it stated that his disrespecting her was crossing her line. My point being that Trump has disrespecting MANY people - in politics and out, right and left - but she didn't have a problem with that until it affected her directly.

You can stop reading this "nonsense" once the Republican party does better.

I already rebutted. You must have missed my point when I said both sides do it, especially those from the party you support. (Hillary, Joe, and Barrack) At a certain point, people find a line they won't allow others to cross. Trump making it personal with her was obviously the final straw with Candace Owen.

You act like Trump is still in office. Time to find a new hobby? How about when the Democrats do better? Checked on the current president, Biden's approval numbers lately? He lost the House for the Republicans.

In 2016,I voted for Kasich in the primary , and noted I would vote for road kill over that raging bitch Hilary. In 2020, I said I'd vote for anyone against Biden. That's true for 2024

Actually it's Trump that's acting like Trump is still in office.

Nonsense. The reason the Democrats and their blind followers talk about him so much is because he's a deflection for Biden's blunders.

No, the reason they talk about him so much is because he is an ongoing threat to our democracy.

I think Tuesday proved that’s not really true anymore. If the left leaning media stops reporting every time the man pees, than the lefties on this forum will stop talking about him. He then fades into the nothingness where he belongs.

The only way to call it bullshit is to dishonestly ignore every step the man took to try to steal the election. You'd have to dishonestly ignore the fake elector plot, every time he pressured election officials, every time he pressured lawmakers, every time he pressured the VP and everything written in his lawyer's memos. These things are objective reality. And he obviously plans on running again. And at the very least until he loses the primary, no one who cares about our democratic elections should lose sight of those objective truths.

There is so much anti Trump stuff going on, people are forgetting that the popular vote was somewhat of a red wave @~52% repub's VS ~46% for the democrats - 6%. I haven't been hearing much about that.
Do not forget that a good number of Trump world candidates won. The Trump candidates were generally not adequately funded by Mitch McConnel for personal political reason of his own survival. In addition, the Republicans had poor candidates boosted by democrat money - AKA election interference by influencing who their party will face in the general election. That is done all the time in California. Public unions fund pushing weak republicans past the less funded, better candidate, then pull funding in the general leaving the weaker candidate to twist in the wind. It's legal, but something the republicans are going to have to learn.

IMO, to much is being blamed on Trump and not enough on Mitch McConnel, and a selfish funding formula. Plus the republicans are still hesitant to go as negative as the democrats, nor interfere in there bench by boost weak democrats to influence their candidates. Republicans still have this hang up about honor and fairness. They hate going negative because they are usually the target. Instead third parties do it, and do it poorly. They need to do a deeper, more thorough job of character assassination. Every politician has a skeleton, ex wife, wayward kid, or termination for something that can be exploited.

Lastly, Republicans have not yet taken Mail in Balloting seriously. They need to get chain of custody laws pass in the state legistators to get challenged in court to codify chain of custody nationally. California is a custody and dirty voter roll train wreck, others are nearly as bad only because they aren't as big.

The Trump candidacy will not be decided by the haters and much as they will try. It will be decided by the voters during the march to 2024.

I can agree with that. Someone else can fight to drain the swamp and put some good policies forth. I'm favoring Desantis at this point thanks to Trump's attacks on him.

So are the loyal Trump supporters going to censure Owens or have they moved on to De Santis?

I think he sees Desantis as a real threat to him. He could save that nonsense for the primaries if he runs. Now is not the time for it.
