You continue to push this lie. And you can't cite, or quote the evidence. I'd ask you again then, to stop lying.

Sure it does, are we going to start suing producers of foods that cause heart disease and diabetes, alcohol related deaths and so on and so forth.. These are personal choices, and if people are not smart enough to know the means to at least mitigate the threat, then f, um ;) Let them live with their stupid choices :)

There was a whole big other world beyond yours !!! Yes, really!

And girls who became pregnant did not put an ad in the school newspaper announcing it.

And girls who had abortions, and abortions have existed for thousands of years, did not announce it to the world.

The "big deal" now is that some people don't want women to have a right to their own bodies

Men and women share the same rights under the Constitution no matter what other opinion you may have and what mind reading capabilities you may claim. Men and women are "created equal by their Creators" according to our law.

Birth control allows personal responsibility to govern whether or not a woman gets pregnant in the first place. Personal responsibility remains important in life.

Free speech doesn't result in the death of an unborn child. Free speech and abortion are apples and space shuttles.

Slavery is unconstitutional. Its mentioned in the Constitution.l Its outlawed by the 13th Amendment. There is no mention of abortion in the Constitution. Again, apples and space shuttles.

The power to wage war is specifically assigned to the federal government in the Constitution. Again, apples and space shuttles.

Giving birth rarely harms the mother, although it can. Abortion kills the unborn child every time.

The issue is abortion versus the life of a child. Tough problem. I understand both sides. Leaving the laws to the voters is appropriate and wise.

You seem to think that a woman can trip on a banana peel and get pregnant. With the availability of condoms, IUD's, diaphragms and the PILL...pregnancy is not an accident. The simple answer to avoid all those things you listed AND PREVENT THE MURDER OF A CHILD... is to use birth control responsibly. That way the issue of the murder of a child never comes up.

Women's lives are as important as anyone else's. ALL LIVES MATTER.
The life of an unborn child is important too. ALL LIVES MATTER.
Life has always been sacred. That's why those who think otherwise (Hitler, Tojo, Napoleon, Pol Pot, etc.) didn't do so well.

The inconvenience of the mother versus the LIFE of an unborn child. I see both sides. You don't. That's why the voters should decide. Thank God for our Constitutional Republic!

LOL...no one's life is "sacred"....have you any idea what the history of the world contains? People NOT finding "life" very sacred at all....people finding other people no big deal...

And then there's those who don't find women's lives to be very important at all....

UH, they did pretty well at killing people....see, life is NOT all that precious to humans as a whole...
And "sacred" is a religious term so thanks for showing it is all about religion ruling..

And then there's those who don't find women's lives to be very important at all....

Women's lives are as important as anyone else's. Your constant attempt to be a victim doesn't work in 2022. ALL LIVES MATTER. Your outdated "women are victims" silliness doesn't work anymore.
"Sacred" is not a religious term at all. My country is sacred. My flag is sacred. ALL LIVES ARE SACRED. I guess in your world you'd say things are worth a certain amount of dollars.
By the way, my wife disagrees with you too. She is an attorney, a CPA and an EA. She is against equality for women. She sees no reason to step down off her pedestal. You seem to live in a world where women are victims. My wife lives in a world where women are achievers, successful, well educated and well adjusted. By the way, she's a very happy mom.

But I bet she loves that "equal pay for equal work" that other women attained for her! I bet she likes to VOTE, something that other women attained for her as an equal right ... but she doesn't like "equality for women" ? She seems confused...

    She needs a pedestal?

But shouldn't have equal rights....sorry but most women think not having equal rights (loss of bodily autonomy) does not make women happy.

Here is what women deal with, how they are harmed to some extent in every pregnamncy.....and every pregnancy has the risk of death

And if you truly have respect for women don't do what ignorant Anti-Choicers have done and pick "stretch marks" out of that list like they are the only harm..

Normal, frequent or expectable temporary side effects of pregnancy

      • exhaustion (weariness common from first weeks)
      • altered appetite and senses of taste and smell
      • nausea and vomiting (50% of women, first trimester)
      • heartburn and indigestion
      • constipation
      • weight gain
      • dizziness and light-headedness
      • bloating, swelling, fluid retention
      • hemmorhoids
      • abdominal cramps
      • yeast infections
      • congested, bloody nose
      • acne and mild skin disorders
      • skin discoloration (chloasma, face and abdomen)
      • mild to severe backache and strain
      • increased headaches
      • difficulty sleeping, and discomfort while sleeping
      • increased urination and incontinence
      • bleeding gums
      • pica
      • breast pain and discharge
      • swelling of joints, leg cramps, joint paininfection including from serious and potentially fatal disease
(pregnant women are immune suppressed compared with non-pregnant women, and are more susceptible to fungal and certain other diseases)
      • extreme pain on delivery
      • hormonal mood changes, including normal post-partum depression
      • continued post-partum exhaustion and recovery period (exacerbated if a c-section -- major surgery -- is required, sometimes taking up to a full year to fully recover)
Normal, expectable, or frequent PERMANENT side effects of pregnancy:

      • stretch marks (worse in younger women)
      • loose skin
      • permanent weight gain or redistribution
      • abdominal and vaginal muscle weakness
      • pelvic floor disorder (occurring in as many as 35% of middle-aged former child-bearers and 50% of elderly former child-bearers, associated with urinary and rectal incontinence, discomfort and reduced quality of life -- aka prolapsed utuerus, the malady sometimes badly fixed by the transvaginal mesh)
      • changes to breasts
      • increased foot size
      • varicose veins
      • scarring from episiotomy or c-section
      • other permanent aesthetic changes to the body (all of these are downplayed by women, because the culture values youth and beauty)
      • increased proclivity for hemmorhoids
      • loss of dental and bone calcium (cavities and osteoporosis)
      • higher lifetime risk of developing Altzheimer's
      • newer research indicates microchimeric cells, other bi-directional exchanges of DNA, chromosomes, and other bodily material between fetus and mother (including with "unrelated" gestational surrogates)
    Occasional complications and side effects:

      • complications of episiotomy
      • hyperemesis gravidarum
      • temporary and permanent injury to back
      • severe scarring requiring later surgery
        (especially after additional pregnancies)
      • dropped (prolapsed) uterus (especially after additional pregnancies, and other pelvic floor weaknesses -- 11% of women, including cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele)
      • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
      • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
      • gestational diabetes
      • placenta previa
      • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
      • thrombocytopenic purpura
      • severe cramping
      • embolism (blood clots)
      • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
      • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
      • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
      • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
      • hormonal imbalance
      • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
      • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
      • hemorrhage and
      • numerous other complications of delivery
      • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
      • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
      • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
      • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
      • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
      • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

      • peripartum cardiomyopathy
      • cardiopulmonary arrest
      • magnesium toxicity
      • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
      • massive embolism
      • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
      • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
        (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
      • malignant arrhythmia
      • circulatory collapse
      • placental abruption
      • obstetric fistula
    More permanent side effects:

      • future infertility
      • permanent disability
      • death."""""""""""""""""""

My wife doesn't get equal pay... she gets a lot MORE. The IRS offers her SES employment status every year.
Most women cherish human life and use birth control.

Your encyclopedic response shows you don't want meaningful discussion, just endless pages of gobbldygook.
Truth isn't a mantra, its just... truth.

Condoms, IUD's, diaphragms and birth control pills can make all your problems and anger go away.

Your endless diatribe about complications from pregnancy is the greatest justification for using birth control that I have ever seen.

There's an objective truth out there, and it should be settled by developmental neuroscientists, not Joe Blow x 1 million. Postmodernism is irrational.

Science cannot always address "objective truth". Its not that easy. Should a child be loved? Should a child be loved if it does something wrong? Should a child be loved if it is totally innocent and defenseless? Should a child in the womb that you can see in i a sonagram be loved? Should a child you can feel move in the womb be loved? I sure did mine.. and I couldn't care less what some neuroscientist said or did.

Dude, if it has no mind, it's not a person yet. Children pretend their dolls are people too, and they may look like people, but they're not because they have no mind. You don't pretend sperm or eggs are persons even though someday they could comprise your children - because they are not yet persons. They're still not persons at conception when the DNA combines - it's just a blueprint. The scientists can tell us how certain we are there is no mind and when it becomes physically possible.

All that and some fiends want to force women to gestate.

Those who set their sights on being victims... will BE victims. Those who set their sights on achievement and success... will be very successful. It really has nothing to do with sex. There are plenty of losers to go around... male and female. And plenty of winners... male and female. Its all a matter of personal choice... and responsibility.
