You don’t even realize that smaller government, balance budget, economic conservatism are not the things majority Americans reject. When Ronald Reagan ran on conservative economic agenda, he got majority vote. When GWB ran on conservative view compassionate conservatism” ( 2004) , he got majority of the vote.

But that republican party doesn’t exist. Today the MAGA thinks GW Bush and Regan was RINO. Today’s MAGA party demonize minority, demonize immigrant, think Free Tread ( conservative idea) is anti-American. MAGA / Republican party thinks unconditional support to NATO ( conservative idea) is “giving away money).

If Republican Party was still party of smaller government, balance budget ( by the way , no Republican president downsized US government or reduced debt in past 50 years), these ideas are only during election session and when Democrats are in power) rest of us could work with Republican. But today republican party of demonizing minority, attacking immigrants, taking away rights from woman, deny climate change, deny election result. Sorry, rest of America had enough.

 

Condor- while I just did the basic stint in the army, I did quickly learned something I've never forgotten- how the military could actually get people to modify their thinking. Extremely hard to do in civilian life A lot of people simply have no idea how to evolve that process or even what drives it. I can teach it- but I can't make anyone learn it until they are ready. As I'm sure you know, some never reach that point.

 

Political debate? I am not interested in political debate. You think I came here to convince you that “racism has no place in 2022”? You think I came here to tell you that every American need to learn “ Critical race theory” or “Climate change is real”. You think I came here to debate and change your mind about “ Guns are the root cause of mass shooting in US”. Absolutely not. You have zero interest to change your mind. I am here to tell you, unless GOP change their ideology, in 12 years GOP will not exist. Now what you do with that information is up-to you.

 

America has had enough nonsense, propaganda, chaos, and general incompetence. Nobody achieves anything good without honor and order in leadership- and the people are tired of the childish nonsense and incompetence of the democrats- many of who seem to be totally unaware they embody that. We are living with the consequences of making things too easy for the last few generations; they are incapable of self-management, but sure they know everything. In truth- you have nothing of value to offer in long term. The philosophy is incapable of building and supporting a successful society.

Children raised without discipline think they should get what they want right now too- and they want nonsense, immediate gratification and no rules.. If a family was run by votes and included everybody, the kids wouldn't vote for the policies of the adults. They aren't smart enough yet. And they would think that overthrowing the order and structure of their parents was some kind of victory.
You don't have to be a child to think like a child- maturity is a state of mind, not a chronological metric. Trouble is that kind of thinking insures disaster, not success. It's short-sighted, it's selfish and it's ignorance, not wisdom. Assumptions- not knowledge backed with experience.

No... you have no understanding of what conservative really stands for, just that it stands in the way of your emotional demands of the moment. It's where you are. Maybe you will grow, maybe not. your choice.

What makes you think you know these people? Most aren't living in their parent's basement. A huge number of them have university job training and education. My wife's late 20s niece works with complex computer applications. She and her airline pilot male friend own a home in a better Seattle neighborhood not far from SeaTac. They have skills in demand and know it.

 

That makes sense, in that if a generation is cultured in a certain way- the identifying characteristics age with them. The children of the hippie generations are around mid-life crisis ages now.

Who votes on putting in term limits?
Congress. When has there ever been any serious talk about congress people putting term limits on their own careers? It will never happen.
Voters are the only option to put in term limits. We can vote against one who's been in office for 2 terms or longer.
Voters decide on term limits or no term limits. By the power of the vote.

 

If you were sincere about what you wrote , I might have taken you seriously. But I know you are not sincerer. You talk about “Honor” and “leadership” , yet you voted for Trump. Honor and Trump is not synonymous, if you think Trump is more honorable then Biden , then you don’t know what is the definition of being honorable.

After four years of Trump’s chaotic Administration, if you think that is “ order of Leadership” , I don’t care who you are, you have no idea what leadership is all about.

I understand the successful society you cherish. Sorry , we don’t want a society where restaurant put up a sign “ White Only” . We don’t want a society where unarmed African-American teenage boy get killed by police and rest of the society says “oh well , police killed an addict”. No thank you to that kind of society. Since the beginning of mankind older generation always blame the next generation “they are indiscipline, they are unwise, they have no experience and things made easy for them.. blab la bla”. These words are meaningless. Fact is US economy , US Military might and influence , US Ingenuity and entrepreneurship has been greater then any time in US history.

GOP lost majority vote 7/8 presidential elections. that’s not conspiracy theory! Problem is you don’t want to accept the reality.

 

Problem is, you tend to be a headline poster instead of an educated one.
If you knew anything about the 2016 election you would have found that Trump won the majority vote in 49 states.
It wasn't until California votes were counted where 6 million more voted for Hilary giving her only a 3 million lead in total votes.

Forgive me, it is in my nature to try to anticipate every possible obstacle and then devise contingencies. This comes from nearly 30 years managing people and projects in I.T., the last 10 at the executive level. I'm not one who operates well on faith, because I've learned that the last person on earth you should ever trust is the one who says: "Just trust me."

You absolutely have a noble goal, and you seem to have the fire to see it through. You've done your homework, and I wish you success. Because, if you are successful, our country will be far better off. You'll have my full and enthusiastic support.

But, you can't fault people for skepticism that a grass roots effort like you seem to be describing can overturn a centuries-long tradition of entrenched scoundrels and scalawags in our governance. I'll happily play devils advocate and try think up ways to shoot holes in your plan, because that can only help readers here to better understand what your plan entails, and cause you to make your plan better. If you'd rather I didn't, I'll respectfully desist.

 

You don’t like any of these things because you don’ like that minorities no longer accept trickle down justice and economy given to them by White Society . You are afraid that Minorities would rather burn down cities than accept what White Society ‘allocated” for them. You don’t like that these minority demand to take down statues of People who did the most horrible things in US history, you think those statues are to be cherished.

It’s not that you hate violence, burning down cities or killing police. You have no problem MAGA crowed climbing up the Capital Hill and kill police. You are fine with it. You have no problem with people who are violent, you put up Statues of people who fought against USA and you call it “ Our heritage”. You have no problem with Proud Boy but you think Antifa is the problem.

 

Then, you shut yourself out of truth, and out of a society that could be healthy- in favor of a view excluding any position but yours. Probably feels good to know you are right and nobody can legitimately question it.
Why don't you run for office? Lots of people there think that way. It justifies the crap like the stuff we are now learning about, like the suppression of critical views at twitter... with links to the government, silencing the voices saying things they don't want heard. Sounds like you are comfortable with people like that, and see no dishonor there.
Really disappointed to find that is the best you can do. Unfortunately, a free society has to take into account the mix of all it's citizens, with all the varieties and limitations they bring- however, it doesn't have to endorse the views and people that would destroy it. In a functional society, the only people not welcome are the ones with toxic attitudes.

even if you were right , Trump own 49 state and then CA voted for Clinton. It's still the majority American voted for clinton. Either you like it or not people in CA are American.
