Most abortions occur before 12 weeks - so how do you know if she is even pregnant let alone had an abortion? Are you going to monitor a woman’s menses?

if you enact a law then by definition there has to be a way of detecting when that law has been broken

How do you tell if a woman has had an abortion

This is idiotic. You think there's gonna be abortion cops wandering around seizing "suspects"? Seriously?

If there's no way to prove it, why would you spend any energy in opposition to making it illegal?

We've had long threads on this already in the Abortion section of this forum.

Why even ask this question? You already suspect that ways exist to be able to catch law breakers. If you did not, you would not oppose this law or care.

they will monitor the apps that women use to track their periods. (my wife is so old she used the phases of the moon to track that. she laughed when i told her that girls are using apps for that now.)

If you have not understood my multiple multiple posts on the correlation between making abortion illegal and the rise in maternal and infant mortality then……..

Fair enough. But that is a separate issue from the issue of some states prohibiting abortion while other states allow it (which I think is the topic of this thread).

Unless you care to explain any ways those two may be specifically connected.

If States want abortion they kind of liked officials that make abortion more permissible it's a democracy why is it only wrong when it doesn't go your way?

You claimed the proof of causation "is so well documented there should be no one thinking it isn't"
    You cannot deliver this claim.

Which I disagree with but then the Dems have there own infanticide bill out so pretending that Reps are the only ones so engaged is just disingenuous. Note much of the stuff Congress does and has been doing since 1932 is patently unconstitutional.

Well, ya, Republicans LOVE BIG and Bigger Government

Why? Because you say so ? :roflol:

Uh, ya, when more unnecessary laws are passed the government gets bigger...and the Repubs want a law passed to ban abortions, a costly and totally ineffective law..
