Because Trump's language is that of a crime boss.

Same rhetoric when calling on Zelensky to get an investigation against Biden.

He's insinuating, he's not using the real terms but he wants a result.

And in the case of Georgia, that result can only be achieved if Raffensperger commits voter fraud.

The delay:
I was curious about Costello's email spew and found this but I can't get the article from any of the archive sites
iirc: It was in April of 2019 that Cohen split with Trump (they had a "joint defense agreement" ) and began fessing up on his lies and gave prosecutors documents.audio etc.
So the prosecutors have had these emails for years and used what was needed and everything that Cohen/Trump were telling the lawyers were all lies back then, both trying to protect themself.

After Costello the buzz was another witness was coming to testify today.
Maybe it's not panning out for Trump or the person needs to be prepped?
Cohen said that Costello was the only one who was stupid enough to go before the GJ for Trump.
Trump & Costello make it sound like Michael Cohen was the only witness and they should know that anything Cohen says needs to be verified by evidence or by other witnesses,

Bragg may be giving Trump a few days to get his witness there.

At best, it will just show that Bragg just wasn't ready to move on this in 2022. They're both going to testify they think Trump is guilty, which is why they quit.

Trump should have been charged in a sealed indictment as Individual 1 by the Feds when Cohen was, with his trial coming after his idiotic attempt at Presidenting was over.

The facts supported it then, as they do now, but they are of a lesser quality than trying to steal an election and threatening election officials...
