    It's about NOT having a belief in God.

    I do not believe that God does not exist
    I do not have a belief that he does.

    I admit it's a subtle difference but it's a HUGE difference.

    If you had read the article, you'd know that this is just about the reimbursements. No one is stopping them from doing anything. They will just lose reimbursements if they don't. The 1st Amendment does not entitle you to receive reimbursements, and no one even vaguely literate in the 1st Amendment could consider it "an end to Catholic worship in a hospital" or "interfering with freedom of religious expression," or "putting the government before God." Nor could anyone who takes freedom of religious seriously call it "totalitarian" in any way. But, hey, if you are right, and we are dealing with the same kind of totalitarian fringe that thinks the election was stolen, then we are not dealing with people who are either willing or able to engage in reason.

    Again, the "demand" only involved requirements or continuing to receive reimbursements. Someone saying they won't give you money isn't persecution.

    No. Not having a belief about God would be agnostic.

    Theism is the belief God exists. Atheism is the belief God don't exist. Both these beliefs are matters of faith.

    Why in the world would I believe that freedom of religious expression requires government subsidies? Back when I was Buddhist, my sangha never got the reimbursements these guys are getting; does that mean our religious freedom was being interfered with? That's complete nonsense.
