I think the majority of them believe it. They sit around in an echo chamber and don't really put themselves in a position to have their thoughts/ideas challenged.

2 and a half months before? What? Wth are you talking about?

And no, Obama didn't bring them to light. In fact he didn't do jack all for black people.

That is your own belief. One not based on any facts what so ever.

No, they don't highlight the problem. They cause problems. Telling one group of people that another group of people are oppressing them causes problems. You cannot deny this fact. Well you can...if you're dishonest.

We already have THE National Anthem for a certain skin color.
The land of the free, only pertained to white people. Not the slave blacks or the beaten to a pulp natives.

Yes, its called the black national anthem. That's the only national anthem focused on a skin color.

Yep. But the NA was written about freedoms of white people.
Blacks were slaves. Natives were beaten to a pulp and placed on small plots of land.

The only Land of the Free were white people. The NA doesn't represent those others.

Yes, it talked about the Land Of The Free.
Only white people at that time were free when it was written.

Blacks were slaves. Not free. Natives were beaten off their lands and put on small plots of lands. Also not free.

So the current NA was written for white America.

Yes, the current NA was written by and for white America.
The Land of The Free, only pertained to white Americans.

Not the slaves who were black, they weren't free. Not the Natives. Beaten and forced onto small plots of land. Also not free.

Written by white American for White America.

Which posts specifically. You guys always make claims of racism only to fail to deliver when called out on it.

Yes. It is. Written by a white man. For people in the land of the free.

The only free people when written were white people.

It will amount to an infraction to call out people/posts.
    Just start on page 1.
Those of open minds will see them.

Was picked in 1931, long after slavery ended. For arguments sake, lets just assume the anthem is racist.

Your answer to racism is more racism?

There is no national anthem that is officially recognized that is based on skin color. You trying to make it out to be as such only foments division.

Using your logic, the Bible only pertains to the color of the people who wrote it.

Irrelevant. Today, and for as long as I've been alive, it is about EVERYONE. Stop living in the past.

For the most part. Yes. Especially the OT. It was, afterall, the god they invented. Actually, there's reference to more than 1 god in those ancient hebrew texts.

And I see, yet again, you have to derail every thread you enter. This is not about the bible

Funny isn't it? Leftists live in the past, yet they call themselves progressive.

To me, complaining about something so pointless because of the usage Black, is a problem.

BFD. Why worry about it? The Star Spangled Banner is not for all America. It was for a free America. And at that time only white people in America were free when it was written.
