$20 billion? Chump change, and won't change anything.

The current Israeli government's dream of maintaining the status quo until Israel absorbs the remainder of the West Bank and continues to make Gaza such a hellhole that the Palestinians abandon it is a fantasy. Like the Germans at Stalingrad, they'll never overwhelm those last chunks of resistance. And like the Russians, the initiative is with the Palestinians. It will be perpetual war, financed by the US taxpayer, until demographics and bankruptcy destroy the Jewish State. So the clock is ticking. Israel can either get real and work with the Palestinians for a two state solution or gradually, and ironically, be absorbed by the Arabs.

And having watched the US Congress bleat and kowtow before Bibi two weeks ago, I'd say Israel's prospects for a dose of reality are pretty bleak.

 

At the going rate, increasing debt will cause the US to collapse along with Israel. It never ceases to amaze me that one is willing to donate billions to a foreign entity while struggling with enormous debt payments. The US government has really lost it. It's a pitty that such a great government has to end in such a way.

 

It's sad my friend. But while my government might fall, my people never will.

 

Why doesn't Israel have any oil? Until Israel conquers some oil fields, down with them, it's the American way!
