the group is called ANY CIVILIZED SOCIETY. if you want to be a barbaric animal and kill babies move to a country that's in love with it,like China.
Most developed (civilized) countries have safe and legal abortion. Maybe YOU should move to a Latin American country where abortion is illegal with no exceptions, but, surprise! you will find HIGHER abortion and maternal death rates there.
I cannot understand the illegal abortion death rate argument. Why are we so much more concerned with the killers' well being than the victims?
Criminalizing abortion doesn't lower the abortion rate. It only makes abortion unsafe for women who are desperate to control the timing and number of their children. Many of those who die from illegal abortions will leave existing children motherless. If you are so concerned about the "victims" (embryos), there are more of them in Latin American countries where abortion is illegal. Apparently, that is not your real concern.
It absolutely is not my primary concern and should not be anybody's!!! Protecting the killer and ignoring the pilight of the homicide victim is SICK and DEMENTED!
Did you intentionally distort the gist of my post? Here it is again: If you are so concerned about the "victims" (embryos), there are more of them in Latin American countries where abortion is illegal. Apparently, that is not your real concern. If you were really pro-life, you would be concerned about saving the most lives. Criminalizing abortion SAVES NO LIVES! Apparently your real concern is punishing women.
Back to your old tired and thoroughly debunked mantra eh? Actually I see no proof that the rate of fetal death is higher there than in the U.S., probably because it doesn't exist. BTW are you suggesting that I could somehow impact the laws of a nation I am not a citizen of? Interesting.
Don't you even care enough about the "victims" (embryos) to research for yourself what factors save more lives? There is abundant evidence that abortion and maternal death rates in Latin America are rampant: http://upsidedownworld.org/main/int...legal-still-killing-despite-growing-awareness
I see nothing legitimate here. Any biased pro abortion site will present the same unsubstantiated drivel. Show me UNBIASED PROOF! BTW, Seems you missed this from your own posted link: "But in Honduras, although the penal code provides for no exceptions, the Code of Medical Ethics allows termination of a pregnancy if the woman's life is in danger. " and this: "In Argentina, Costa Rica, Paraguay and Venezuela, abortion is allowed to save the pregnant woman's life. Argentina also makes an exception in the case of women with mental disabilities, while in Venezuela, women who undergo abortions to preserve their honour or that of a spouse or other relative are subject to more lenient penalties." Oh yeah, and then there is this: "In Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala and Uruguay, abortion is also permitted in cases of rape or incest, and Uruguay allows for another exception as well: economic hardship. " Seems quite leinient to me.
gotta deal with our own problems at home first. can't Police the world though some want to. Criminalizing it will put the clinics on notice, "KILL THE KID, GO TO JAIL" just like all the MADD billboards across the nation. and you watch how fast teen/unwanted preganancies drop. If that ain't saving lives from prison, I don't know what is
I'm not suggesting to police the world. Why do you think criminalizing abortion will work to reduce abortions here when it hasn't in other countries? In fact, The Netherlands has the lowest abortion rate in the world with no anti-abortion laws. What evidence do you have that will happen? Evidence shows women will continue to get abortions regardless, though many will die from them.
Go back and read the littany of exceptions allowed. There is no real prohibition of abortion. Its just more emotional hysteria from the abortion promoters.
Yes it was the dark ages for the people of Romania. Really? What do you know about it? I don't need any updates, I am quite well aware. From the attitude of knowing it all even though you still just a kid. Open your mind, make less judgements, learn, observe and understand, then form opinions.
Very dark ages indeed, big salaries, jobs from the state, homes from the state, school totally free, illiteracy reduced, very dark ages indeed, Apparentlly more than you Not so sure about it. Is this the best you can? Calling me a kid? Try better. And thanks for the hints but I already did that.
You should learn and understand more about what you attempt to debate instead of falling for propaganda. Clearly you have no concept of what freedom is or how to appreciate it. Clearly not. That is not surprising. Yes, you are one and a poorly informed one at that. You certainly have not shown it. On the contrary you have demonstrated ignorance and closed mindedness, not characteristics of intellectual pursuits.
Learn from the same resources you did? Capitalist propaganda books? Or maybe from those thieves that make billions today while we pay? Sure, communism was hell on earth for them. Do you also say that what I said before is a lie? And what freedoms did you missed at that time? So, just because I don't agree people to let themselves lead by basic instincts like animals I am close minded?
yes indeed the closed mindedness is continually demonstrated in your posts. Clearly you know nothing of the communist era and understand even less of it, just as you know nothing about what or where I learned anything yet you comment on it, thus demonstrating that you have learned little, no matter where. For all the free schooling you mentioned that was enjoyed during the "communist" era it seems that few smart men resulted from it considering the current conditions in Romania. By the way, most of those you mention as thieves were in high government positions or were connected to them. Corruption at all levels, was and remains endemic in Romania and it seems that you are somehow left out of the "prosperity" some some acquired and are jealous. I am curious, in which part of Romania do you live?
This post shows just how much you understand about Romania. The current conditions in Romania are not from lack of intelligent people but because it is imposible for young intelligent people to make a living here, so they make the clever decision and leave the country. However the romanian intelligence showed itself in the communist era. Nadia Comaneci the first athlet to have 10 on a row and the second largest and the first most expensive and heavy building in the word are product of the communist era. And there are many others. Those thieves were mainly but not only from what is today know as PSD ( Partidul Socialist Democrat ) the Socialist Democrat Party, lead by Ion Iliescu. They and others got in possesion of the state's properties, they sold and destroyed almost all the fabrics leaving thousands of people jobless. They even got a national back into bankruptcy the the hole was sent to public debts and payed by the fools (us). I am talking here about Banca de Comerţ Exterior ( The Bank of Extern Commerce ). There are only two examples that show why Romania is in it's current situation. Everybody was left out of the "prosperity" apart from a selected group that lead the so called "revolution" in 1989. And I live in what is considered the poorest region in Romania, Moldavia.
What sort of lazy, POS just keep screwing without protection to the point of 12 children? I thought the government forced those on assistance to get their tubes tied after 3 or 4? How did this "lady" go under the radar? Put these people on inner tubes and push them out to sea.
So you mean to tell us that from all that intellect that the free education produced only the thieves could raise to power? And of those the ones the were best connected to the communist regime and then you say that those were the good times. So much for your understanding of reality. Really, how with all those failed grandiose projects? Last time I looked gymnastics were a physical activity not an intellectual one, but will all her fame and success she chose to leave that wonderful place, both she and her coach. Ceausescu's imitating Stalin is hardly an accomplishment of a nation and the demolition of thousands of homes to make place for the megalomania of a dictator are poor examples. Ah, the land of Stefan Cel Mare, Ion Creanga, Eminescu, Porumbescu and Enescu. Now, they had accomplishments...
