US Soldier Goes on Killing Spree, 17 Afghans Dead

This soldier obviously was having mental problems. In this instance, it is perfectly legitimate for the generals and even the President to apologize to the Afghan government and people. My heart goes out to the innocent Afghan civilians killed by this soldier.

I would like to see an indication as to why he did it. I suspect it was in retaliation for Afghan actions after the Quran burnings.

We'll need more information before this can turn into a real discussion.

What do you say about anyone who decides to kill like that? I would agree with you.

 

I would say that they are usually incompetent.

 

US soldiers are in gangs? What possible difference could it make which race or ethnicity the shooter was? It was a US soldier.

 

Up to 5% of Current duty US ARMY troops have had affiliation with or been members of a Street Gang (Including MS 13)

Have you noticed, PARAMONOS, when the stupid Afghans lose their minds and go on a killing spree because someone actually destroyed one or two of their "Holy Books" (actually, the Qur'an) this behavior is considered "understandable" and "forgivable" and is somehow conveniently excused by the liberals and leftists in our group?

By the way, if you actually read a number passages from the Qur'an, you would realize just how " unholy" this book actually is!

When one of our soldiers, who was obviously under a lot of mental and emotional stress, does the same thing and kills a few Afghans, the liberals in this group want him punished to the fullest extent of the law for these “unforgivable” sins against humanity.

What a double-standard many of the liberals and leftists in this group frequently have!

By the way, my heart is very saddened and it goes out to the innocent children and women who were killed. But if the Afghans had not done what they did, the U.S. soldier would not have been driven to do what he did.

Absolutely. Same here.... just like my heart goes out to the Ft. Hood victims - 13 dead and 29 injured by a Muslim Army major, Hasan....

And what's about the Pastor which is waiting for execution in Iran? The mainstream politically correct write almost nothing about, but they will condemn 24/7 the US - Army because of this accident.

 

My heart goes out to him too, and I consider the efforts by the Iranian government wrong. I am not a cultivated sheep of the MSM.

I wonder what the punishment will be. I'm against the death penalty in general. I'm thinking a just punishment would look something like life in Leavenworth at hard labor. Should throw all those Haditha murderers in there with them.

 

Who cares why he did it. He murdered 17 people. He should fry.

 

Well that Muslim that shot up our soldiers at Fort Hood ain't fried yet. Killing our Troops is unfortunate.
